My wife and I stayed here twice during the month of April; as we were travelling from NYC through Pennsylvania in early April and back to NYC in late April. My wife and I have stayed in many hotels over the years and would give this hotel an average/adequate rating. It was clean; the staff were friendly. It was a good place to put your head down for the night but will be very reluctant to stay over a longer period. The rooms were dull and dark; for breakfast, there was available coffee & hot water (for tea) but nothing else. It was also the best rate we could find in East Stroudsburg so for the short stay; it was adequate. The road leading to the hotel was awful as there are potholes and huge bumps in the road (no fault of the hotel) but just the fact. My wife and I agree that if we do pass by East Stroudsburg again, I believe we will fork out more money to get a better accommodation.…

I can only barely begin to adequately praise the facilities and people you will find here, The rooms are immaculate. The facilities are well beyond those I have encountered at other Super 8s. Everybody greets us with a welcoming smile and treats us like members of their families. They are always accommodating to our needs. This should be your first choice for a hotel in, or near, East Stroudsburg, PA. It certainly is our first choice (and the only choice over the past ten years).

Local road construction complicated driving to the hotel, but it was worth the effort. This place remains one of the hidden gems of the Pocono Mountains. The room was well-appointed with refrigerator, free WiFi, TV, microwave and coffee maker. A safe is available, but if you don’t use it, you can get the $1.50 daily fee refunded at checkout, if you ask. The bed was comfortably firm and there were numerous electrical outlets available. The light bulbs were bright, which gave the room a more home-like feel. The heating / air conditioning unit worked well to heat and cool the room without problem. The water in the shower was hot and plentiful. The bathroom had bright lighting, making grooming easy. The towels were absorbent and the cleaning service replaced them daily. The free breakfast was of the “light” variety, a common industry-wide carryover from the pandemic era. You won’t mistake this economical hotel for a 5 star location, but the inexpensive price and very friendly staff boost this facility far beyond what you’d expect at this price point. Stayed over with my dog 11/2022 weekend getaway. Been here numerous times. Bed very comfy and found the room each time to be clean. Like it has microwave and frig. Only issue is a/c filter was dirty. Breakfast is just snacks, prewrapped items. Should be better even for Super 8. Easy on/off highway.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The room was clean, bed comfortable, shower nice & hot. Also, the coffee in the morning was good. I would definitely stay there again if in the Stroudsburg area!

We stayed here one night en route from NYC to Ohio. This is an old hotel that is showing its age. Check-in was slow because the front desk staff (all three of them!) were having computer issues. Our room was exceptionally clean and quite comfortable, but the chipped paint and missing caulking reflected the property's age.. The wi-fi was so slow that I couldn't do some work that I really needed to do - very disappointing! "Breakfast" was pitiful, even by Super8 standards - a few pre-wrapped muffins and juice boxes. Honestly, if that's the best they can do, they shouldn't even try. Easy access to the expressway, and we found a fair selection of restaurants about a mile away. Very good price for the area, but I can't say "good value" because of the wi-fi and breakfast issues.…

Shower was disgusting. Covid test pieces left In bedroom. Found in the morning so didn't bother reporting to front desk b4 we left. Cannot believe the shower was completely untouched between guests. Just gross.

Clean room, dog friendly. Beware if you are traveling with a pet. I booked through Wyndham for a dog friendly room, then called the property to confirm that the room would be dog friendly. At check in I asked if I could get a ground floor room and she said “if I have a pet friendly room available it would be ground floor.” They did, but the whole of statement bothered me since I am traveling with my dog.
