We stayed there for 2 nights when needed place to sleep and take a shower for nearby outdoor festival. We rented "family room" with 2 full size beds, coach and a little table. Room also had small fridge, microwave. No coffee maker there but they have coffee from 7 till 10 am at the office. Also continental breakfast provided with bagels and some other little things - don't expect much but it is nice to have a coffee at the morning before going somewhere. Room are very outdated, but clean bed and hot shower make it worth a stay when needed. It was not noisy at night and you can adjust AC and Heat yourself. No Wifi. Will stay if needed again.

My wife and I stayed here for one night during the Memorial Day weekend. We had our small dog with us and made our plans at the last minute. The Value Inn was the only place not sold out that would take a dog. We asked for a nonsmoking room, but when we checked in at about 5:30 PM we were told that they only would give us a smoking room because of the dog. At this point, we either could go home or stay the night. The room was very small, but clean. The bed was comfortable and looked like it was recently replaced. Ditto for the wall paper. The bathroom was tiny and part of the shower had masking tape to keep the frame intact. The shower was clean and fully functional. The room had a musky smoke odor which could not be removed even with the AC at full force. There are no windows that open. The smell was not overwhelming but persistant enough to interfere with our sleeping. Overall it was an unpleasant experience. The Jacuzzi rooms were in a newer section and may be OK. The staff recommend the Alaskan Restaurant as a high end, upscale place. My wife and I ate there and found it to be quite mediocre and expensive for the quality.

the room was clean enough, but not nearly enough lighting. The toilet was constantly broken and the faucets in the bathroom were hard to work. The manager seemed not to care too much. The bed was comfortable but the window coverings do not keep out the heat of the sun nor does it afford the customers privacy.

Room was muggy, smelled like mold. Left after 10 minutes in room. I would not recommend this motel. I should have driven 30 minutes further to a nicer hotel. Save your money and time by not booking this place.

This hotel is absolutely a nightmare! My family and I were visiting Buskill Falls and needed a place to stay for one night. We were looking for no frills and good pricing...Let's say...a VALUE. What we got instead was a front window with a bullet hole covered over with plastic tape, filthy floors, mold growing on the walls of the bathroom, some type of LARVAE/WORMS crawling in our beds.(Didn't notice that pleasure until morning) One of the chairs in the room had something spilled all over the seat, the TV kept shutting off every 15 to 30 minutes all by itself, the outdoor pool with very cloudy water, a handrail falling over in the pool, broken stair ladder to get out on one side of the pool....When we went to complain to the owners...You guessed it, nowhere to be found. No employee was willing to give us a refund and one of the staff told us that the rooms are cleaned every two weeks. I'm not too picky BUT a hotel/motel/inn should clean a room one hundred percent...every day it is open. NO EXCUSE for this disaster area.
This was unsanitary, uncomfortable and unsafe...NO value at this Value Inn. See photos!

Do not go here. We paid, went to eat, came back and hated the room. it stank. We then wanted a refund and were refused. we were offered an upgrade for more money, which was the only room that did not smell. Sorry.

Value Inn" (but on the receipt I found a different name Pocono Resorts Inn.) located at 5219 Milford Road, East Stroudsburg, PA. 18301Shocking and deplorable, unsafe and unsanitary health conditions, that I recently encountered at this rat hole, filthy toilet, dust all over, broken faucets, when I opened the shower curtains, I could not believe my eyes, there were slugs on the shower floor, crawling out from the open shower drain, suspicious bloodstains and very big yellow stains all over the bed sheets, and pillowcases. Most horrible motel experience that I ever had! Beware! Never Stop Even Near! How can it be possible, that the people, like the motel owner of the Value Inn, can obtain a license from Health Department / Department of Sanitation and run his business with that filth, total disregard, neglect, and negligence, destroying the public opinion about a great State like Pennsylvania in the 21st century?

My husband and I went to stay a night at the here this past weekend... They make you prepay before seeing your room and have a sign at front desk that says no refund after key given! We were given room 115 Walked into the room and it was disgusting. Cigarette holes in the bed blood on sheets and walls... Did not even take our stuff out of the car... Went back to the desk and told the guy i will not stay In that disgusting room! He then gave us room 123 AGAIN gross! Filth everywhere pee stains im bed n bugs everywhere! Still had everything in my car... Went to desk and asked for my $90 back. Said I don't want to stay here. The incompetent idiot Then tried to show us Another room. We refused and told him we just wanted our money back And that after seeing 2 very disgusting rooms I was not going to stay there !! He then told us that he would not give us a refund And even went as far as to say it is not the managements fault if the maids do not clean! Whose fault is it then? Avoid this place like the plague. They are Sketchy Rude unproffessional and just disgusting!!
I returned the next morning after leaving without my refund and the woman who was there Said the manager was not there and she would have him call me He still never called! Take my advice this place is the Worst of the worst They should be shut down by the health department. I have contacted the BBB And I hope they shut them down!!!

"The "hotel" style looking building (used in the web page) has hallways in front of the rooms, but less light, seem to be quieter than the motel type rooms. But the motel buildings are further from the street."
