We just got home from our trip. The cottage was very clean. The staff was wonderful. My parents loved the fact that the one room was on the first floor since my mother has a hip problem. They wished there was more air conditioning since it was warm out during the day. The upstairs queen bed did have a bit of an unevenness to it.

The pool was kept very clean and the family loved going in. We also liked that there were chairs by the firepit so we didn't have to bring our own.

We took both of our dogs and they loved the land. They were able to relax just as much as we did.

What we also loved was how many of the places we visited were so close. Considering the gas prices, it was great being so close to many different places. We did Bushkill Falls, the Native American Museum, and the Country Kettle in the mornings and the rest of the days were spent in the pool, playing cornhole, and doing some minature golf.

Thank you so much for having us. We would love to come back another time.

My fiancé and I were looking for a mini getaway with our two dogs. We originally booked another place then found Echo Valley and it’s special “stay 2 nights and get the third free”. So for that reason we booked it. And we are so glad we did. We booked a 1 bedroom cottage. I received a text from the owner Hiram saying we could check in early if we wanted. Upon arrival he was outside and greeted us. The cottage is very quaint. There are no frills, no 5 star hotel. That’s not this kind of a place. It’s a perfect cozy mountain cottage and it was perfect for us. Very quiet. Enjoyed a cool night in front of the fire pit. There is some road noise but nothing that was bothersome. I have zero complaints about Hiram or the cottage. We will definitely be back. You are so close to so many wonderful eateries and attractions. Great location.

My sisters and I have stayed there 4 times already this year since we have been in the area helping my mother. After a long day, it is an incredible rest for your body and soul. We fell in love with the cabins as soon as we saw them. You can't beat the value because the rate includes up to 4 people and there is plenty of room. They have a wonderful screened in porch, full kitchen, living room, bedroom. Cottages are clean and well maintained. Hiram, the owner, is extremely helpful and pleasant. Pets are allowed which is also a plus. We recommend Echo Valley Cottages to everyone we know traveling in the Stroudsburg / Bushkill area.

Planned a weekend girls trip to go hiking and didn't want to stay in a hotel. We wanted a spot to have a fire and a few drinks and hang outside. The "Pond" cabin/cottage was very clean, had a full kitchen with pots, pans, plates, glasses and utensils. The couch and chair in the living room were really comfortable and modern. The wifi worked great and the tv had pleanty of channels for my friend who wasn't as into the campfire as i was. We had a little deck off the screened porch to hang out and off to the side was a spot for a fire. I love camping but my old ass isn't sleeping in a tent with a community shower so this place is perfect for me.

I stayed here for a couple nights because I wanted to crash at a cottage after a day of hiking and I didn’t want to spend money on the pricier properties in the area. The Bridge cottage was more comfortable than I expected for 1 person and next to a small peaceful pond area and an open sky for easy stargazing. It is also conveniently nearby some of the Delaware Water Gap trailheads and also a 5 minute drive to supermarket, pharmacy and gas station. The owner also provides a duraflame log for a small fee in case if you’re feeling lazy, and the fire place was a nice touch to the cottage. The main downsides are that it’s a little close to the residential road in terms of car noise and light pollution at night, and some of the kitchenware could use an upgrade, but overall I found the stay very pleasant and would definitely consider staying here again for more wintertime hiking.

This place is quite a ripoff. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that doesn’t provide sheets or towels. Also we couldn’t even take shower because the shower doesn’t drain. They charge you fees for everything you can imagine. $25 for towels, $10 for firewood, $50 for pet fee, even extra fee for credit charge!!! Honestly we wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here. There’s no amenities and the room itself is super outdated. Super disappointed. Not a pleasant experience

The location was perfect and definitley was an adorable cottage. We stayed at The Pond and it was nice being on the water and having the duck couple as companions. Window unit air conditioner definitely did its job which was wonderful. However, the cottage had odor of fish and cigarettes. I thought after the air was on for a bit, it would subside but didn't. It states "no smoking inside" unfortunatly not observed. And the queen bed definitly needs replacing.

When booking, there was not a place to put 2 dog fee on the reservation. At check in, it was confirmed that we had one dog. I corrected her and stated that no, I have two dogs and they are small. Nothing was said to a change of fee. About 20 min later, the owner came over to "intoduce himself" to my husband and said that he noticed two dogs and we only paid for one. My husband did not check in with me and did not know that I had said I had two dogs to the person I checked in with. The owner said that we needed to pay for two and a processing fee. I had NO problem paying for two dogs and didn't understand why that wasn't done when I had said there were two. He made us feel like we were trying to get away with something. ABSOLUTELY not as we travel with our dogs all the time and have no problem with paying for them. It's way cheaper than a dog sitter is how I look at it. Just wish that there was more communications from front desk to owner.

Stayed in Hilltop House for one night. It was very clean but also a bit run down (peeling paint, water stains on the ceilings). Main thing to note are safety considerations. There is an outlet in the living room without a cover on it, and the stairs to the second floor do not have a stair rail. These are safety issues for anyone, but particularly those traveling with small children or older adults. I emailed them after the stay and was told they "will be addressed."

I booked the hilltop house for New Year getaway with my son and his family and 3 dogs. The property is quaint, has a mini golf course, volleyball net, pool and a creek running through it! The cottage is dated but comfortable. Each bedroom had a queen bed and twin trundle bed. The yard has a grill and huge firepit. The living room has a working fireplace which was great. Hiram met us at the house to check in and was very pleasant. The house could definitely use some upgrading but it definitely served its purpose. We will be back in the summer! Very convenient location, minutes to town and shopping and restaurants!

This place is exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a quiet, comfortable getaway and we got it! If you're looking for a place to relax and sit by a fire you found it. Pet friendly! And the host was very nice and had us checked in quickly. Thank you!
