IF you can get them to answer the phone (7 calls per ONE call answered), the non-english speaking staff are rude and completely unhelpful. Now I understand running a homeless shelter/flop-house drug den and prostitution facility gets hectic, but seriously, you are NOT that busy. I did not want information, I asked to be connected to a specific person without... More

My son just moved to Ephrata and we were looking for a room until he could find housing. The man who answered the office door wouldn't even let us in! He said the manager was not there and he couldn't rent him a room. Wouldn't show us a room, couldn't tell us when the manager would be back. Just creepy!

My husband and I stayed at the Scottish Inn in October of this year (2006). At the first sight of the office which was cluttered and not particularly clean I was skitterish about staying there. The reviews we had read on Trip Advisor let us know we were not booking a top motel - the owner/manager??? couldn't have been nicer... More

Stayed at the Dutch Garden Motel (lighted sign in front says Scottish Inn) in October 2006. Booked non-smoking room with king bed (assigned to Rm 7). Room was large with new bedspread, curtains and carpet. Bed was comfortable, other furniture in room was a little worn in some places. Bathroom has been renovated or is undergoing renovations. The new counter... More
