On route from upstate NY to SE MI we needed an overnight accommodation. Erie is just over halfway and there are many choices at the Peach St exit from 90 West. Reviews were good for the Hilton and I am a member so we had reservations made in advance. We were completely satisfied! Check in was easy, the front desk was professional yet friendly. We had requested a needed accessible room and it was perfect, right near the elevator on the second floor. The elevator was right inside the door from the parking space. The room and the hotel were spotless. Beds were comfortable. There was a coffee maker , refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board. The bathroom had a tub and handheld shower. There was an adaptive bench fitted to the tub securely which helped with showering. I also think there was a wheelchair to use in the hotel if needed. We would return here anytime.

Nice hotel, beautiful lobby, restaurant/bar was great; staff were all friendly, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable except for one major problem. The window’s blackout blinds only cover 18 inches on either side of the window. So at sunrise, the room is as bright as if we’d turned all the lights on.
When it comes down to it, the one absolutely essential function for a hotel is to provide travelers a place to sleep. I liked everything about this hotel, except losing almost half a night’s sleep.

Words can’t describe my experience when I walked into The Hilton Gardens Erie it was beautiful and excellent in cleanliness The Gentleman that checked us in was such a Gentleman so professional just exceptional in every part of his job very very well spoken black male very well kept finely dressed with a cleaned shaved head. He treated us with the upmost respect and dignity he was there working until 12am. I will always go back to this Hilton Garden in Erie PA. This man was extremely exceptional with his service we didn’t have to ask any questions he explained everything from start to finish. A True Gentleman who deserves a raise and a promotion.

A quick stop both coming and going on our way to a vacation. There are many hotels in this area, and I chose this one because of the high rating and the proximity to the highway. We did 2 one-nighters, a week apart. Honestly, I expected more from this Hilton. The staff is great. Front desk and bartender were great both visits. Rooms were ready both times, and easy parking made unloading very convenient. My requests to have an upper level, quiet room were honored. But the rooms are dated. They are clean enough, but the shower handle felt like it was going to come off in my hand, and the tub drain plug was in pieces. Mattress was average. Room-darkening drape was partially off it’s track, and the window whistled in the wind. Also, both times we stayed, each room had a funky odor. You kind of got used to it after awhile. To me, a 5-star rated hotel is better than this, sorry. I can just call this hotel average.

Honestly expected a little more. The Hilton Garden Inn ERIE PA Was rated pretty highly and the nightly room cost was on the above average side when it comes to cost vs some of the other hotels in the area.
I liked that our room was ready and I could go straight in with our room key. The room itself was fine, nice sitting area and the beds were comfortable enough.
We did notice that even though the room was "ready" for us, when we got inside there was only a quarter of a roll of toilet paper on the roll and the second roll next to it was empty, as such we had to go downstairs and get more from the front desk. A Small detail sure, but a pretty important one when it comes to staying in a room with 4 people.
Also the Pool was a big draw for us as my kids love to swim. The Pool area was fine but the pool itself is on the small side and when we swam there in the morning ( about 9am ) there were no clean towels in the pool area and the linen basket was full from the previous day with dirty towels. Again not a huge issue but enough to knock it down a rating.
Breakfast was fine, but for the "Continental Breakfast" they offer I feel like $10 per person is a little steep for the small selection on offer, we didn't feel like the hassle but if Breakfast is important to you maybe go to one of the many choices outside the hotel within a very short distance.

Just passing through. Clean comfortable room - bathroom actually smelled disinfected in a good way. Not that I am a fan of the Hilton Garden Inn bided egg breakfasts, but because of low occupancy they are not serving even that today. Not greatly disappointed. Clean, safe and comfortable enough. Friendly receptionist - always nice when you check in late and tired.

This by far was the best Hilton garden inn. My son and I had no issues at all. Usually there's little things that may be annoying but was none here. We stayed here for the D-Day reenactment in Conneaut. The pool and hot tub were working well. By far, the best hot tub and pool. You could smell the chlorine as soon as you walked into the hotel. I only pick hotels with hot tubs cuz my aching legs need it. Everyone was nice and pleasant. There's a Burger King and cracker barrel right next door so was convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

No. Our hotel only accepts service animals.
I wouldn't risk it. Free shuttle directly to the park or drive. 2 minutes away by vehicle. VERY busy highway & tons of traffic.
