First the good: The staff meant well, was reasonably pleasant, and VERY hard working. The room was as clean as possible, but like the rest of the hotel felt very worn out and in need of renovation.

Our family had a great stay here over the 4th of July 2018 holiday. We were in the area to see the Harrisburg fireworks. The top 5 things I liked about this hotel:

Thank you all for your honest answers. We are in Harrisburg, which is the capital and is a smaller city. We don't have exciting things happen in our part of the neighborhood. In all, it's actually pretty quiet. The historic district of Shipoke is to the right of us, and downtown to the left. We are within walking distance to what is called restaurant row, and having shopping and other activities to do locally as well. This is a very diverse neighborhood, and we love the different people that come all from our little city of Harrisburg. We are staffed 24 hours a day for our guest's; and our hotel, since it's an open lot, is surveilled 24 hours a day as well.

"Avoid any room near the lobby. Better yet, avoid this place all together."
