My husband and I spent the weekend at the Settler's Inn. Our room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in our package which was good as the food there is a bit pricy. We only had dinner in the restaurant one evening. However, I will say this: everything that...

We spent a weekend at the Settler's Inn and were extremely disappointed with the room that we had. The Inn is nice but we would like to suggest that you check what room you are assigned. When I telephoned, they had mentioned a room with a sitting room with the only drawback being that it was on the third floor....

Our daughter chose this inn for an intimidate family wedding. Although the outside of the inn was not the secluded setting we were expecting, the inside of the inn was lovely. The staff arranged the furnishings around the fireplace to create a beautiful setting for the wedding ceremony. We had two planned dinners during our stay and breakfast each morning....

We stayed at Settlers Inn this past summer. It is basically a restaurant, surrounded by a parking lot. It is on the main street of town, and there is absolutely nothing special about this location. The room was very pretty, but, the windows were all permanently sealed shut, and covered w/ plexiglass. Therefore, we were forced to use the air...

The Settlers Inn is just that. An Inn. Not your ordinary hotel. My Daughter and I attended the wedding of a relative here in February. The Inn is not in a secluded area but rather on the main street (it actually IS Main Avenue). We were expecting something in keeping with a rural area. However, the area is not particularly...

From the antique charm to the modern touches, the decor will reel you in. Staff are genuinely friendly and the food is top notch. Menus are changed monthly and food is all fresh and local. You'll get much more than muffins & yogurt for breakfast! The lobby fireplace and rustic bar are a great place to hang. The jacuzzi tub...

We went to the Settlers Inn for a weekend in February. We had room 210 (if I recall correctly). The room was small, but cozy. It had a comfortable bed and sofa and two large windows. There were some cobwebs on the ceiling and the HVAC unit was confusing, with a cryptic remote. I ended up googling the instructions online....

We arrived on Valentine's Day, for a long President's weekend. The goal was to get away, get some rest, and relax. I was very excited about staying at the Inn. It looked perfect from its pictures! Of course with all the crazy snow in the area, there is not much to marvel at, but as soon as we walked in,...

When a guest books into one of our smaller rooms, which we call the traditional rooms because they were some of the original spaces in our historic 1927 property, it is important to remember that the rooms are priced accordingly. We have worked diligently to put extra amenities into the traditional sized rooms, such as standard sized whirlpool tubs, (they...

We booked a specific room online and actually chose the inn (which was out of our way) for that room, which had a fireplace. We received a room without a fireplace, and when we asked the front desk she just said that a lot of people think they're getting that room when they're really not (ie the website leads you...
