My stay was excellent from the beginning to end ! THANK YOU to the front desk guy ANDREW ! He was very charming and helping. We stayed for one night and wanted to stay more days beds were comfortable :)
We have stayed at this hotel twice in the last couple months. Each time was great. The room was clean each time we stayed. The bed was comfortable. The sheets were clean and soft. It is so convenient to have a microwave and small refrigerator that really kept things cold. My husband was a patient at Hershey Medical Center for surgery. Because of Covid19 the restaurant was not able to serve food, but I'm sure it would be good. The staff was very attentive under the circumstances of Covid19. No complaints here!!
Our room was spotless- we wiped down every surface, and there wasn't a speck of dust, or dirt. Check-in was great, and the front desk clerk was professional, and helpful. It's also super close to Hershey Park, and located near a lot of restaurants. Breakfast- wasn't great. I get that it's a pandemic, but you could tell they just didn't care. Our breakfast was a brown paper bag with an orange, a pack of cookies, and a granola bar. That's it. We paid $180 for the room. The pool is open super early, but there were no towels in the pool area when we went at 7:30 So it was just kind of a sub-par stay for a room that was $180 a night. Then we get to social distancing. It's not good there. I didn't see anyone wiping down anything in the common areas, or elevators, mask wearing even by staff was spotty at best (the morning desk clerk never wore one- housekeeping seemed to do a lot better with that), and there were a bunch of cars in the parking lot from "quarantine states" like Florida, and Texas. The hallways, and elevators are small- there's no way to keep distance. There's no signage or sanitizer other than the lobby, and we just didn't feel safe, or cared for at this location. We checked out early. I wouldn't recommend this place.…
Under construction, bugs in room, bathroom door STAYS shut at all times. Breakfast is sub-par even despite the temporary setup from lobby construction. Just not up to Hilton Garden Inn standards. The entire experience from check-in, to room setup, to conveniences is well off the mark. It will likely still be a step down from other locations long-term, but I would certainly avoid this location at least until any/all modifications are completed.
The room I had was very nice, very clean. The pool was nice to relax in swim. Renovations are going on at the moment in the lobby. When you entered the hotel the entrance was the side door. Check in room was a little office room. You only received breakfast when you had your Hilton honors member if it was a bronze or high. I did not like the fact that I had to eat breakfast somewhere else.
