The property is beautiful, but the staff are the highlight. We enjoyed the natural pool and quiet and peaceful atmosphere of Il Paluffo. We did a cooking lesson on site which was a great experience. We would definitely visit again.

What a great place. The staff and owner were so great to deal with. The scenery and grounds were gorgeous. The way food and drinks worked was incredibly accommodating and convenient. I think about my time here a few times a month and would go back without hesitation. Amazing, don't miss it!

2 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen with sitting area that was divine. Morning buffet breakfast was adequate and high quality. Eggs on request. Coffee made to order. The sustainable swimming pool looked gorgeous but cool temps tempered our desire to swim.Wine selection on hand is very, very good. Can order day trips, olive picking, or home cooked meals in your...

My family, along with 3 other families, stayed at Il Paluffo for a week in September. We had the most wonderful week. The Villa has been restored with amazing attention to detail whilst maintaining the amazing history of the building. Liana is a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble and, even...

We stayed for one night in the Forno House at Il Paluffo, but could have easily stayed a week or more! Tucked out of the way in the hillsides around Certaldo, the building is the perfect mix of rustic with modern conveniences as well as eco-friendly technologies. Upon entering and checking in you're led through a 15th Century Olive mill into...

Excellent B&B with a romantic medieval setting. The views from the rooms and grounds are spectacular. Modern conveniences within the building originally constructed in the 16th century. The breakfast (somewhat pricey) area is located within an old wine storage cellar. Located not far from excellent restaurants and the medieval town of Certaldo.

Rustic and secluded, but with a great location. Easy to get to a ton of surrounding farms and wineries, and they even give you a free iPad to use with a sim card so you can navigate without using data. Fantastic spot overall.

Our family of 5 enjoyed an incredible 5 nights at Il Paluffo. We loved the relaxed atmosphere, quality of the apartment, and friendly staff. We took advantage of the pasta making lesson with Patricia on our first night and highly recommend doing this activity. You can't beat the location in relation to getting around to other places in Tuscany, including...

This historic building has been restored, conserving its original structure and design. Paluffo features four independent apartments, each of them with a private garden – Torre, Stillo, Forno and Frantoio -, and the owner’s house, with four rooms available for B&B. The housing estate includes the historical mill, completed with a millstone and a press for the pressing of olives, a fermentation room used in the past for the production of wine, a wine cellar dug in the tufa rock, a bread oven and two wells. The fermentation room and the wine cellar are now at the disposal of guests as common spaces, and can be used for meetings and courses.. A laundry area is also available to guests.
