Our stay was actually in late April 2014, but I always remember it with a smile! I was on a trip to Cornwall with my fiancee, her mother and my mother, and we chose the Mandalay Guest House as our accommodation for the first night. We arrived after about a 1h30 drive from London Gatwick Airport, and the owner warmly...

I was in this guest house last year, in August, because very near to Stonehenge .... and I was surprised for the elegance and the beauty of the bedrooms with a beautiful garden outside. A good breakfast, a good service from nice people ..... if you want to visit Stonehenge, remember this place ..... it's difficult to find something better....

We stayed here for our visit to Stonehenge, in the Bronte room at the back of the house. Nice room with a sitting area, the only thing lacking was water pressure in the shower, the rest was excellent. 10 minute walk into town, we had dinner at the Bell pub (excellent affordable food and drink). Hard to go wrong with...

Great place to stay, friendly and knowledgeably hosts, great room... great breakfast! Very easy access to Stonehenge (which was great because we had to be there at 5am) Would definitely stay there again!

Couldn't imagine finding a better B&B. Stayed for three nights, hugely impressed by the whole experience. Warm welcome, attentive service, nice rooms, superb breakfast and everything was absolutely immaculate - we said it was almost as though they decorated the place every time we went out. They very kindly allowed us to use their beautiful garden for a family photo...

I booked this hotel through an agency and am SO glad that the name came up! The guest house is easy to find, within easy walking distance (although quietly out of) Amesbury in a lovely location. The rooms are beautifully clean, comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast is lovely and expertly prepared. This will be my default position for any future...

We spent one night at Mandalay last year. The host was very nice indeed. You could walk to Stonehenge, and it was a nice walk, only it took 30 minutes more or less. The room was good, cozy and warm, you had your own kettle and some teabags too. The breakfast was gorgeous. Typical English Breakfast with bacon, eggs and...

We couldn't have been happier with our choice as this Guest House is in a perfect location, quiet, immaculate, has excellent hosts, good value, yummy breakfast in a delightful room that overlooks a gorgeous garden, and there's good parking right in front, off the street. Our upstairs room, facing the street, was very pretty with nice furnishings, comfortable twin beds,...

Felt welcomed but not mithered all the time and left to our own devices which we preferred. Room was nice and clean. Very good location for visiting Stonehenge. Enjoyed our breakfast which was delivered quickly. Positive experience all round. We used the place as an overnight stop travelling to Poole Harbour to save me driving too much in one day.

Thank Joe T
