Comfy room, watch out for shower in room 17. Very powerful. Hallways have creaking floorboards. Room 6 has a four poster bed and is said to be haunted. An evening meal on the specials board is well worth £6.95. Help yourself. Breakfast was enjoyable. Have a good nights sleep...

This hotel very near of stonehange. Build 1898. They still continue their old theme but inside room excellent decorated. But I think it's not value for money. Much expensive. Have not much food choice. Very limited.

This character full charming olde worlde Inn with it's cozy lounge bar with open fire is trying hard to rise above an unfortunate past. The team is welcoming and friendly. I booked a single room and wasn't expecting on suite but the room was spacious as was the on suite. The room was too warm for me and I couldn't turn...

After an indifferent welcome we found the room to be less than inviting. I doubt the edges of the carpet had ever felt the nozzle of a hoover. The bathroom window frame was crumbling. There was a very old spider's web in the upper corner which housed a large spider. The ceiling paint above the shower was peeling, although the...

Wow, I loved my stay here! There is ample private car parking, lovely airy oldy worldy bar area and restaurant. My room was accessed up a grand stairway, which turned into a dark corridor, up and down ancient steps, really old and magical feelings of history. The room itself was lovely, fitted with modern furnishings, plenty of space, and everything...

Very old hotel with low ceilings and quaint features. Rooms are accessed via a creaky staircase and corridor that undulates along the length of the building. Friday night entertainment was a bit load for those wanting an early start.Could do with a good tidy up but a great base to operate from. Food in the bar was reasonable and hot....

The staff were friendly enough, just what got me was the food was tough and cold, sorry but won't be going there again 😔, then you had people loitering around me with trackies and hoddies while I ate, sorry again just I did not enjoy this pub much, therefore not going to give this a high rating...

We found the hotel to be badly in need of refurbishment and even more in need of a good clean. Our bedroom was spacious (four poster) but with wallpaper peeling, paint work cracking and mould on the windows. Always be suspicious of bedrooms displaying ageing artificial flowers! I found the price of the rooms over priced. The staff were friendly...
