Clean room and friendly staff, great food free parking in street overnight, never any problems. Very old coaching inn with loads of geniune original features including a roaring open fire. Good atmosphere. Well presented restuarant / breakfast area and good food. Very popular and good food everytime I have eaten here.

I have lived in RWB for 15 years and this is the first time I have visited the Angel. Popped in for lunch whilst taking a break from work. From outside the building looks nothing special and you could easily walk or drive past it without giving it a second thought. Once inside you are almost transported back in time...

Booked a single room for a night. It wasn't very big, and whoever designed the bathroom must be a Tetris freak - everything squeezed in. Can't comment on the food as I didn't eat there (plenty of alternatives and types in the High Street). Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Great food. Steak was cooked to perfection. Pizza is homemade and delicious. We did want garlic bread but this was not possible... Pudding was lovely. Easy to park outside. We sat by the fire, a perfect spot!

My wife and I stayed overnight in March. Although the inn doesn't have any car parking, we had no difficulty in parking overnight in the street immediately outside. The accommodation is situated in a two storey annexe across the rear yard. We were on the first floor, accessed via a staircase on the outside of the building. Although the weather...

This very old inn is full of rustic charm with very welcoming staff. On arrival we were aware of the smell of woodsmoke from the open fires which kept the place cosy and warm on the night of gale Doris. The evening meal was excellent and the breakfast was everything anyone could ask for from full 'big boys' breakfast all...

We arrived for a last minute stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a lovely evening meal with great service in a nice warm bar. Although our room was petite it was immaculate with brilliantly comfortable bed and everything you could want - hair dryer, iron and board, tv, phone, free WiFi and cosy bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and thoroughly...

I phoned through to the reception at about 9 in the evening to check if the hotel would take late check in and the owner was more than helpful and checked us both in at about 11pm. The room was really pleasant and came with a good large bath and very comfortable double bed. The annex of the rooms we...

I stayed here for business and very last minute. What a delightful place, really warm and friendly staff, delicious food and honestly the most comfy bed I have ever slept in! Nice quality products in the bathroom and scrupulously clean throughout. There was a useful desk in the room so that I could finish some work and they even bought...
