As I was celebrating a landmark birthday in Bewdley we wanted somewhere special to stay, and booking well ahead we couldn't have picked anywhere better. The house is set on the edge of town in its own grounds, but as Bewdley is small it's only a few minutes walk to the town centre and river. There are lovely gardens, of...

This is a lovely house with a beautiful garden. Judith is a most welcoming host and makes great scones! Our room and that of our friends was large and welcoming. Breakfast was a real treat and don't go without seeing the chestnut tree. Walking distance to S V R station and local pubs.

Great welcome even though the hotel was very busy with a funeral wake as we arrived. Bags taken up to room (on the 2nd floor - no lift) and cake on offer. Superb cooked breakfast and plenty of fruit, cereals and toast. All the staff we met were happy to chat and very keen to help. Room (Cleeves) spacious, clean...

I visited here numerous times for business in the local area. The rooms are beautifully appointed all carrying a different theme. The beds are so comfortable, a good nights sleep is always assured. Judith, the host, is very friendly. Oh, and the breakfasts ... sublime!!!!

My wife and I were invited to a wedding anniversary at Kateshill. There were thirty people at the meal and I must say it was excellent. For main course I had salmon which I think was shot with a harpoon, the portion was huge. For a small party like this it's an excellent choice. We're fifty five years married next...

This is a great Georgian property maintained sympathetically. The rooms are themed and very spacious, comfortable, clean and tidy. The staff and owner are very attentive, friendly and polite with great attention to guest comfort - highly recommended, we are likely to go back.

Not one single bad thing to say, lovely room, excellent food, genial hostess. Booked for one night for a friends "get together", stayed in the Boleyn room, beautiful double bed, extremely spacious, copious amounts of tea and nibbles! Well worth the price 👍😬

I booked Kateshill way in advance to make sure I could book all 8 rooms for a surprise party for my wife's 40th. Having stayed here before I knew how special this place was. Judith and Graham made the arrangements for room booking and food very easy indeed and the evening could not have gone any better. Attention to detail...

Sadly we only stayed one night at Kateshill. All the 210 other reviews have said it really. 205 rated 'excellent', and 5 mean people only rated it 'very good!' Judith and Graham have obviously worked hard to achieve such a superb place to stay. The gardens with that interesting chestnut tree (one of 50 best trees in UK) set the...
