As advised in previous reviews the hotel does not have a lift so it was a bit of a challenge carrying the suitcase to the top floor. No heating in the bathroom was very clean and fresh. There was a group staying at the hotel, shouting to each other in the early hours of the morning. Could hear the TV...

We were given a gift of two night in a hotel for Christmas and thought Kidderminster would be nice to visit. The Gainsborough House Hotel was the best part of the Kidderminster experience. The hotel was clean and bedrooms and bathroom adequate for our needs. The bar was lovely and the staff especially Dave welcoming although the menu a bit...

I recently purchased a Wowcher deal for a stay at this hotel. However, when I came to book I was advised I could only book for rooms one month ahead. I wanted to book for June or July which was within the terms of the voucher. I was advised by reception staff that this would mean I had to ring...

This hotel is in a good location for shopping in Dudley and the Black Country Museum. That's what we did. The staff were friendly, bar and restaurant good and the breakfast was spot on. If there was any negatives, a limited evening menu..but that would be being picky. Recommended.

Stayed here every year for the last decade with friends. The hotel has made improvements to the rooms in that time. Overall it has everything we require and indeed the staff generally do their best to make our stay enjoyable, the residents bar is always popular lol!

Visited for one night on our travels through the Midlands. An excellent stay was spoiled by noisy room a/c unit that kept me awake even when turned off. The Hotel are aware of the issue but do not seem to be able to resolve. Otherwise a good room nicely decorated and in good condition. Bathroom is modern and well fitted....

Stayed here 11th February had a fantastic time. Indulged in the champagne stay (really good value for money) the food was first class everything was cooked to perfection and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are tastefully decorated. Breakfast next morning was hot and delicious. All in all a wonderful stay...

Lovely clean room, spacious, comfortable bed, nice and warm. Free Wifi in the bedroom. A large car park. The evening meal was very good, in a nice restaurant. The breakfast was also of good quality with a plenty of choice. The only downside for some people maybe that there is no lift.

We stayed at this hotel on a two night break. The staff were all welcoming and cheerful. The room was large, the bed comfortable. Breakfast first class with a good variety of cold and warm choices. We will certainly stay here again if in this area.

Quite simply the worst night of my life in a hotel... And I've stayed in literally hundreds of hotels up and down the country for work and pleasure. Staff polite and friendly but ultimately unable to actually solve any issues. First, note there is no lift, so although our bags were light, those with heavier items will be dragging them...
