Initial impression not great on srrival - we were not made to feel welcome by the barman.
Thankfully our experience quickly improved, loved the 'blue room' and it's decor.

Don't rely on Satnav to find this delightful hotel/pub but find it you must. Warm welcome bookin at Noon, dated,but comfortable Double Room in keeping with the era and a good en suite. Extensive varied menu with locally sourced produce and own brewed ales.

Over priced food and small portions, not what I was led to expect. The barman was miserable and unhelpful and the owner was even worse! The price of their ale was good but the wine was ridiculously expensive! Could also do with a deep clean!
