Nice place. Nothing much to do in the town area though. Rooms were nice & clean. Not huge room but okay for just the night. Bed was good, but pillows are too soft. So I’d bring your own if you prefer harder pillows. Breakfast was also really good 👍🏼

Just spent the 1 night here. The room was light and airy and spotless. The bed was very comfy and the quilt was light soft and nice and warm. Breakfast the next morning was enormous! Freshly cooked and locally sourced. There was so much l didn't eat again until the following day.

We arrived on a hot sunny Friday afternoon in the hope for some food and refreshments. The pub inside was spotlessly clean, (beautiful floor!), and the serving staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered the beef lasagne and scampi and chips. The lasagne was obviously microwaved and presentation a bit scarce, and the scampi alongside slap-dashed mushy peas. Nevertheless, the drinks were lovely and refreshing served by the brilliant and fun bar staff!

Owners are absolutely lovely. Lad at the bar though absolutely uninterested with no social skills at all and was downright rude - he needs to exchange the grunts for ‘please’ and ‘Thankyou’. Food was very average and massively overpriced for what it is. Coffees and drinks, and the setting are however excellent. Location and owners absolutely carry this place but they need to address their choice of staff. Could very easily be made excellent.

A great hotel right next to the river, such a lovely setting. We arrived as a party of 5 ladies & were made to feel so welcome on arrival and shown to our rooms which were clean and beautifully furnished & decorated. Unfortunately I had a little accident during our stay & Ralph (host) was absolutlely amazing, large bag of ice appeared, followed by more ice, helped with my luggage in the morning and even the dog. Much to Ralph's dismay we will be back, he also has a great sense of humour which shined through. This is a little gem of a place, lovely staff value for money.

This is a lovely little place run by a very friendly couple who clearly try to ensure that customers enjoy themselves. Set right on the river there is plenty of outside seating (if the weather is fine) as well as a comfortable interior. Rooms are clean and well maintained, if a little old and creaky. Would highly recommend.

We had the best ham egg and chips and sausage egg and chips. Very welcoming staff, and great service. Lovely spot right next to the river. We chose here because it’s such a nice looking building, with a sun trap eating area.

We had a lovely meal at this establishment. Staff were friendly and good choice of menu. When they arrived, meals were hot and good portions. Drinks were reasonably priced. Outside dining was lovely overlooking the River Severn. Despite it being busy, we were served our meals fairly quickly.

Popped into the Riverside Bar at The Swan just for drinks. There is an outside seating area plus tables along the road overlooking the river but as it was cold we entered the main bar inside. Very nice modern bar yet in an old building. Great pictures on the wall.
