Have been to the Waterside Inn several times. Food is always excellent as you would expect, and the service is very friendly and attentive (not stuck up, so all feel welcome). Had aperitifs in the gazebo by the river which was a good touch. Always good for a special occasion... or just a visit.

Wow! A special birthday treat from my husband and it didn't disappoint. We stayed in a river view room which was beautifully appointed and even had 2 bathrooms. For our evening meal we settled on the "Exceptionelle" tasting menu which was nothing short of fabulous. All staff were helpful and courteous without being pompous which made the whole experience totally...

We were warmly greeted by the lovely receptionist which was a great start. We were then shown to our standard room Le Regate by again a very polite and welcoming staff. The exceptional service continued into dinner. We ordered from the a la carte menu and our waiter was very helpful and attentive. We've eaten in many Michelin starred restaurants...

I took my fiancé to the Waterside for her birthday. It was utterly appalling. The lobster was sinewy and bland. My girlfriends rabbit looked and tasted overcooked. My veal was essentially a blob of gelatine. Flavourless and without texture. The service was utterly disgraceful. We were harangued at the beginning of the meal and then utterly abandoned by the end...

We arrived and were shown straight to our room "Heron" it had a wonderful view overlooking the river thames. We went and had a cocktail down in one of the little gazebo's that are dotted about. Valentino was the barman and he made me a cocktail using Honey Rum and my wife had a creamy one, they were both lovely,...

Lunch menu on a special arrangement for local residents with a reduced choice. Food was very good but not outstanding. . Everything was well presented and delicious but somehow lacked the WOW factor, except the service which was impeccable. The cheese selection was also memorable Friendly unobtrusive staff who seemed to anticipate every requirement at exactly the right time and...

Sincerely in my top 3 meals (dining experiences) ever! Been twice now and both times I've been in awe of the sheer quality of not only the cuisine but restaurant in general. From the minute we walked through the door we were welcomed with warmth and a friendly service. The food is obviously exceptional but the atmosphere, service and sheer...

Our second visit to the rooms at the Waterside Inn. Once again; great service, amazing breakfast, fantastic decor. Would highly recommend. A must visit location overlooking the Thames. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay.
