Our rooms are simply, yet thoughtfully designed. Each room has the comfort of a superking bed made with good quality linen. There are televisions and hairdryers in the rooms. The shower rooms have been installed to a modern design, plus each room has good wardrobe space with plenty of hangers! The rooms are set apart from the pub restaurant so if you want an early night you shouldn’t be disturbed. The rooms are situated in an attractive courtyard with its own private garden where you can sit and read the newspaper or a book if the weather is being kind.

We were very impressed with the room & facilities. The rooms are situated by a small and pretty courtyard and just across from the main restaurant/bar. Our room was very comfortable, spotless and nicely/simply decorated. Staff were great. Food was gastro style and was very good. As was the breakfast, menu ranged from granola, honey and yoghurt to traditional English breakfast. A great place to stay for a mini break.

We had a swim in the outside building, which is set up around the courtyard with 10 rooms. They are very modern, large super king beds which are very comfortable, nicely decorated and excellent bathroom with shower. Nice toiletries provided, plus complimentary water, and tea or coffee making facilities in the room. We had dinner in the pub And the food is at the top end of “Gastro pub”. As seems to be usual in these post Covid days, the menu is not extensive but a good enough selection. I had the special which was steak Rossini, an absolutely excellent fillet steak with a special mushroom on top. Cooked to perfection. My sister had the duck, and again that was excellent. We shared a pear sticky toffee pudding for dessert, and again that was very nice I’m trying to think of an excuse to come here again!

Had a fabulous walk and was recommended this pub as an half way stop. Had drinks and lunch time sandwich. Staff were very friendly, would highly recommend. The pub was decorated beautifully and the evening menu looked amazing. We had a peek in the rooms, they also looked amazing, we will be booking to stay over very soon

We had a splendid lunch here this week as a family group. It was great to be welcomed and looked after by such lovely people as Christina and Amelie. The atmosphere was friendly yet professional, the decor very stylish, and the food was delicious.

We love this pub and the Annings Cider is just the best. The staff are friendly and attentive. Sitting in the garden on warm day with a cider is a real treat ! We regularly walk from Kintbury and the pub is at the turn for home, so the pub is ideal for a couple of cool ones. This is the first time we have eaten and to be honest the sandwiches were underwhelming ! It wouldn't take much to be great, but sadly they aren't and the chips were more small bits than chips. Perhaps sandwiches aren't highbrow enough for the kitchen, because that exactly how it felt - minimum effort ! Love the pub for a pint, but we all agreed we'd had better £3.00 meal deal sandwiches - sorry won't eat there again !
