We recently stayed at the Mount Hotel whilst attending an event at the Spa in Bridlington. On our first night and following morning there was no hot water in our room. When we raised this with Pauline, one of the owners, she offered no apology but did say she would ring a friend who was a plumber to see "what... More

I will not get into an argument with the only guest we have had for the past four years, who was so arogant and rude he would not listen to reason.(The only one in a party of 15 to complain) This guest's latest stay was his third in as many years. I would suggest that prospective guests check out our... More

We arrived in Bridlington in the morning of 22nd May and by chace came accross the Mount Hotel, we popped in to see if they had any rooms available and we're shown the last room, which was explained that the room is not en-suite but has a private shower room, although I would generally not book a non en-suite room... I booked a double room with ensuite bathroom. We got a room with a shower. Unfortunately since there was no heating in the shower room it was impossible to use it as it was freezing. The bedroom was also very cold when we arrived. I think they had only just turned the heating on. Our room was spacious and the... More

I booked the Mount because of its proximity to The Spa as we were going to a gig. Our room was not ensuite but had its own shower room and both were immaculately clean. Although small, the room was well appointed with nice touches that I would only usually expect from a more expensive hotel - decent biscuits, a bathrobe,... More

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at this 4 star accomodation and wish we had booked for longer. The hosts Steve and Pauline made our stay a real home from home. Our room was immaculate and cosy with a lovely personal touch and the en-suite bathroom was as big as our bedroom. Nothing was too much trouble... More
