Hadn't been to the restaurant for a couple of years. Booked for 5pm Sunday carvery. In on time and good choice of starters. Went to carvery and meat was dried out as if it had been under the heat since the 3pm sitting. If we came back would be to an earlier sitting.

Booking with a company like Village you expect to know what you're getting. I've stayed in a few village hotels & this one is certainly not up to the usual standard, dated room, dirty towel, lack of atmosphere, won't be staying here again.

Stayed here for one night in March 2017. I have stayed at Village hotels before and generally found them to be good places to stay. This one however stands out to be quite poor in comparison. It's dated, very very dated. It does not live up to the expectations you have if you have stayed in other Village hotels. Tired...

We've stayed in a Village Hotel down in Farnborough which was really nice, so thought we'd stay in one again on a £25 Friday night deal. The one in Liverpool isn't really worth more than £25 though.. At least not for our room.. Looking at the outside, maybe we were in an old part of the building, so maybe not...

I stayed over at the hotel on a business trip as it was close to by next destination. I thought the hotel aand restaurant were very overpriced. £23 for a sirloin steak which wasn't very good. The rooms also are desperately in need of an upgrade. I had no how water for a shower as I was told rooms share...

Poorlycleaned room, breakfast not consistant. On the other hand a very friendly welcome and staff. The lift could do with better signage as people were walking past as it was not easily recognisable .

Poor nights sleep in a room badly in need of refurbishment. Only positive about this hotel was it was close to where I needed to go the next day. Food very average in the restaurant. Will not stay again.
