I’ll be honest, I booked this hotel with some trepidation - budget hotel at budget prices, I wasn’t expecting The Ritz. BUT, I was pleasantly surprised. We arrived at 12 noon, 2 hours before normal checking in to the warmest and friendliest greeting, and then the lovely lady, moved some things around on the computer and got us into a room early. Yes, the room was basic, and had a very snug bathroom/toilet/shower cubicle, but it was clean. It had a generous amount of coffee making facilities with China and takeaway cups. The tv and remote control worked. The bed was serviceable and we slept reasonably well - perhaps one or two springs were noticeable. The other major bonus point was FREE parking - that in itself is a real treat for London. It’s also very close to the Piccadilly line straight into central London, and the shops in Hounslow. So no, it’s not The Ritz, but the staff were very polite and friendly and it’s an absolute steal for being so close to Twickenham and the tube. I’ll definitely stay again! Top tip - ask for a room at the back - you can’t hear the traffic on Staines Road. Thank you to the lady on reception when we arrived at 12 noon on Saturday 16th March - you were fabulous

This hotel would have been great 30 years ago, but needs a serious makeover. Staff were great, very friendly, but its looks very tired. Broken blinds, window didnt shut properly, dirty marks on the wall, bathroom way too small, door to bathroom had peeling paint, shower door broken shower head mouldy. biggest issue was the window - room 12. couldnt be closed and i heard every pin drop from every passer by all night and then the fun really started when the first arrivals to heathrow came in at 6:00am and then every 3 minutes after that. Very handy for Twickenham, was a 30 min walk, Wetherspoons over the road does the usual fair, but lamplighters next door, more of a drinking pub. i would probably pay that but more and book into the IBIS just down the road. I did laugh about the notice on the wall of the lift prohibiting the "visitors to rooms" i didint realise it was that sort of hotel when booking.....

I don’t mind basic, I am fortunate to stay in very high end hotels and also am happy to explore budget choices. This hotel however, just doesn’t feel very charming. The reception staff were friendly when I arrived and when I left. Service - 4 star Room - 2 Star Cleanliness - 3 Star
