Guests at ibis budget London Heathrow Central commend the hotel for its clean and comfortable rooms, often mentioning the spotless conditions that contribute to a pleasant stay. Service quality has received mixed reviews; while there are accounts of friendly, helpful staff, others have encountered slow and disorganized service. Although the rooms are basic and lack amenities like hairdryers, many travelers find the hotel to offer good value for a budget stay. However, noise from fellow guests and the hotel's somewhat isolated location with limited dining options are noted drawbacks.

Just the right place if you would wish to admire planes fly right by the buildings. There is an east facing room that does offer the view of flights as they take off or land right from your room ,but it is best to confirm at the reception. I would not advice calling them since even if you would be charged for calling them up, they would not remember what you would have booked for or which room you would have asked for. I asked for an east facing room but was offered a west facing room - just the beginning of vacation :'( . But then the ground floor or the entrance to the hotel offers even better views of flights. Has ok breakfast, not much of a variety. You can either choose to pay for internet separately or pay it along with the hotel room cost. The reception is on the 1st floor. Some of the staff is friendly but not everyone. Close to the airport. There is a bus service from the hotel to the airport that is offered or a taxi service that costed about 10 pounds. Very far from the city centre and not easy to commute. Not much options for vegetarians. I'd not recommend eating veg sausage.

No reflection on front desk staff who were helpful and pleasant but really need to sort out the time the room gets made up. My experience on 15/3/20 was that I put the 'make up my room' sign on the front of the door at 0930. Still not made up at 1530 despite my asking the floor supervisor at 1230 if she would make up the room as I wanted to go back.
Secondly the bed is extremely uncomfortable with little support and in dire need of replacing with firmer ones.

The breakfasts are dry particularly the scrambled eggs and it's all a bit tawdry at the breakfast buffet, and it really would be nice if when asked if I want ice in a drink and say yes then the bar lady doesn't just make the sound under the bar of cracking ice but actually puts it in the drink.

Booked a 1 night stay in a super room prior to a morning flight.

It was my first stay in a super room. There is a slight difference, i liked the styling and the shower was superb. Room comfort was good, sadly the same amount of external noise so no improvements to the sound proofing.

Check in was super quick, check out was simply a key drop. Fantastic.

I only saw the receptionist who was super great.

Only downside is parking. Managed by a seperate entity and over night costs £12. Not for me. i simply never pay these charges.

All in all for what i paid it was a great experience. Very convenient for LHR and purple parking is literally a mile down the road on the same side.

Theres also ample shops and takeaways a few hundred metres away which was good as the onsite facilities were closed.

Recommended and would use again.

Web promo slams guests into discounted breakfast, not honored at check-in. We arrived late and were planning on breakfast before a flight the next morning. Reception refused to honor the rate we had booked including breakfast, said we had to run the credit card again at the higher rate despite the original booking being non-refundable. Breakfast promo was directly on Travelodge site when we clicked through from Googlemaps. Must be a scam to slam guests into buying the overpriced breakfast add-on.

Having previously booked a single room for two, on arrival were told there were no Twin rooms. As friends we did not want to share a bed, so decided to book a second room in same Travelodge. Could not book a second room at the price offered on the Travelodge website, it simply would not accept my booking, and neither could the Hotel Manager help with using their website. But he offered me another room (plenty of rooms were available) but only at more than twice the price. I felt cheated so stayed in different hotel. Splitting up two travelling friends is no way to treat regular customers. I paid £3 for 24 hrs wifi for Two Devices but neither we or the Manager could connect two devices, and as I was staying in different hotel could not use myself. Virgin Media cheated me here and refused to help or refund when I spoke to them on their Premium Rate line. Cheated again. This eppisode spoilt our stay in London and made booking new flight tickets more difficult.

I had booked this place for two night last week because of its proximity to the airport.
On day two, I personally went to the reception and told the manager to get the rubbish removed and provide a new set of towels. Due to COVID I had no choice but to order food from outside the previous night for dinner and the rubbish had accumulated in the room and was stale with smell of food by morning. I came back to my room by late evening but was surprised to see the rubbish in the room , they had forgot to clean the room and the sheets and towels were not replaced. I checked with the duty reception desk but they pleaded ignorance. Because this TL is located in Heathrow and most of the travelers put up with the lack of professionalism by the staff and don't bother to leave a review . The staff at this TL have become complaisant.
One more import experience to share , please don't waste three pounds and subscribe to the TL WiFI provided by Virgin , its a scam and you will be dissapointed to find the WiFI crashing every 90 seconds .

I would have given 4/5 but for one very important factor, the air conditioning was either broken or they restrict how cool the air blows. It was 25•c in our room overnight with the air con set to 16 on an april night (not mid-summer), you can’t open the window, not even a crack. Room was clean (apart from huge red stain on carpet), had somewhere to hang some clothes, body wash provided in shower, 2 usb sockets on each side of double bed, tea/coffee and kettle, no hairdryer, had a desk and chair (no mirror above desk), a full length mirror on wall. TV . Free wifi. One pillow each. Bar/restaurant serving limited menu (pizza, burger, chicken strips), and alcohol (£10.40 for a smirnof ice and a bottle of heineken). High chairs available. Buffet breakfast had a selection of Kellogg’s cereals, some cold meats, baguette, croissants, bread/toast, jams, marmalade, Nutella, cooked breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage (looked like vegan sausage available), bacon and beans - fruit juices, selection of twinings teas and selection of coffees inc cappuccino - breakfast was okay. Would not stay at an ibis budget again just because of the air con, it was stifling and made for a poor nights sleep.

Reasonable price for the room at £32, however £12 per day parking and £3 for WiFi per day made the daily cost £46 which was very poor value.

No food available and very very noisy. The walls are paper thin and I had a very noisy family next door, I had no sleep. I realise there are COVID restrictions but to offer no food where most other hotels are doing so is poor.

In the morning the cleaners were extremely noisy - a lot of shouting and banging

Seeing family off for a long flight from Heathrow initially presented a problem as we were travelling from the North. Staying at Travelodge solved the problem as it is very close to the airport with airport bus access, and low cost; paying for the room not per person. The room was clean and tidy with TV and a modern bathroom (good idea to take your own shampoo though). The cafe was closed but there's a Dominos Pizza 3 minutes walk away.

Although in a good location for an early flight, quiet rooms and friendly staff my sleep was interrupted by the fire alarm above my bed which flashed now and again and was enough to wake me up.

The location is good for the airport - I got the N9 night bus from right outside the door which went to Heathrow Central Bus Station and Terminal 5.

I'm not a regular Travelodge user so wasn't sure what to expect from the restaurant. I found the food expensive but mediocre. On the night I was there the menu was very limited and the burger I had tasted as if it was from a supermarket frozen pack. I had expected a bit more for the £10 odd it cost.
