This is great in addressing a short-term accommodation need. Very pleasant reception, A lift. Spotless room (double plus) with all you require for a short stay. Great en-suite. Comfy bed. Decent TV. Windowless - but that is clear when you book it via the website. Great AC. And the mark of a good place - decent toilet paper - not the all-so-often thin stuff. Despite the fact that BA changed our early morning flight from T3to T5 sometime after we had booked the Aerotel, and that caused some stress, we were very satisfied with the Aerotel and highly recommend it.

After decades staying with a major hotel where I have a gold membership each time we fly in and out of Heathrow, we took a chance on Aerotel. The strongest reason was actually being inside Terminal 3 making getting around much easier. The staff took immediate interest in us a guests, even whisking our luggage up to our room on a trolley and asking us to call before checkout so they could bring our luggage down. The rooms are small, of course, but very efficiently laid out. The room was immaculate and everything worked as it should. Even the shower, which is actually quite large, was perfect. Hot water, lots of it, and no leaky blocked showerhead. Towels thick and fluffy. Toiletries were of good quality and plentiful. A/C worked well and didn't shut off during the night -- a pet peeve of mine. There is cold food on offer at reception and it appeared to be good quality but there is a restaurant in the terminal that was quite good. This was a very good experience and as we get older, made our travel much easier. We checked out quickly with our luggage on a trolley and staff offering to get an airport trolley for us. Cost? I don't even remember but it was worth it! In fact, the only things my loyalty and gold car has been getting me at the other hotel is two bottles of water in my room -- Aerotel left two bottles of the same brand in the room for us. It was fine. We wanted to be close to the airport because we were flying in, and then flying back out the next morning on an international flight. The convenience was our number one reason for booking, and it was convenient. It does need better signage throughout the terminal. The other thing that could be added is a small restaurant. We hadn’t had dinner, so we ended up having to go back into the terminal to eat.

Very convenient for Departures Terminal & very clean but expensive and the double room was more like a pod with very little room to move once luggage was included, no window, no chair and the bed was tight up against one wall. The website says there is a restaurant but that should be removed as there is not, only cold snacks in the foyer. We had to walk outside to find an eatery.

OMG! This place is awful. A very small windowless box that claims all the amenities of home. Not! It’s not an oasis and has no amenities. For $300.00 I would expect more. The only good thing is it is in terminal 3. Had we realized how bad it would be we would have stayed at a better place.

Great location right outside arrivals in Terminal 3. We booked a Double Plus and asked for two singles when checking in which wasn't an issue (I have a bad back so being able to stretch out while sleeping means a single bed each is better). The rooms come with all the amenities you need and you can pick up a free dental kit from reception if you need it. Yes, the rooms don't have windows but even if they did you'd only have a view of the drop-off point. The AC worked well but did take me a few seconds to work out. The beds were comfortable and my wife and I both got a good night's rest before our flight. We didn't use Aerotel's own food facilities as there is an M&S Food, a WH Smiths, and a Boots all within a very short walk of reception. We bought some food from M&S and had that in our room. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be immediately at the airport for any reason.…

We had originally stated that our check in time would be 6pm however our flight changed at we arrived at 3pm, the staff member stated that if we wanted access to our room it would be an extra £10 per hour. They don’t let you store your luggage either. The room was so small with no window, air con didn’t work therefore very warm. No mirror in the bedroom either. On a positive note it was clean and the bed comfy.

Airline changed our flights 10 weeks prior to our arrival date and the hotel refused to refund our reservation. Terrible customer service. Will never stay here and would NEVER recommend this place. What a terrible way to kick off our trip to England. Disgusting.

I had a very early flight out of Terminal 3 and so the location of the hotel was the main draw. Just a few minutes walk to T3 departures. I was very happy with the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. Check-in and check-out were very fast and the room was very comfortable. There are no windows in the bedrooms but I knew this before booking. Tea and coffee making facilities are in the room. Cold drinks and snacks are available at an additional cost from reception area and a bar area upstairs, though there was no-one upstairs to serve you. Hot food is available in Terminal 2 departures if you need something to eat. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. One tip - if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs - due to the nature of the hotel people are coming and going all the time.…

Perfectly located within T3 arrivals and just a short walk to the departure for checking in the following morning. It was a small room with no windows (which we already knew about) but beds were ok and bathroom with a walk-in shower was very good. Being in the terminal meant that there was no need to get a cab from a hotel to check-in at what is a very busy time of day. It would have merited 5* except that the first room we were given had not been serviced since the previous occupant.
