Helpful staff at check-in, (we had an issue with our room which was resolved promptly), wonderful food and service at the restaurant. We were tired and in need of a good clean room and a good meal, and the Crowne Plaza surpasses our expectations.

Lovely hotel and we appreciated the covered access from the train station as it was raining heavily. The room was very clean and well presented. The staff are very attentive and the breakfast options are plentiful. I went for the full English which was lovely. Special mention for Krystyna who was very cheerful and smiley and nothing was too much trouble, including getting a pot of tea for my husband even after I'd said no to her offer earlier because I forgot it 😄

Rooms fine, plenty of hot water, nice linen, quiet. Excellent shower. I need essentially to promote the excellent customer service from Kajal Adriana. A smartly turned out member of staff, looking extremely smart in her uniform. Well spoken and attentive. My husband and I had a particularly difficult situation, that we inadvertently created. Kajal came to our rescue, solving the issue and essentially did this without us as guests feeling somewhat in the wrong and a bit “silly” so a huge thank you. All other staff on the early breakfast service were efficient, pleasant and courteous. Buffet fresh and appetising and we’ll laid out. Overseen by a great restaurant leader Kajal Than-you, we would visit again due to Kajals excellent promotion of the hotel. Please ensure she is advised of this review.…

Immaculately clean as always to the highest standards . It’s always a pleasure to enjoy some relaxation time here. Ultra soft carpets ,dark blue soothing decor to the bedrooms with a marvellous bath and walk in shower in a sizeable bathroom . The double glazing is perfectly soundproof and the temperature control in the room is so effective …unlike other hotels . Please may I send an especially cherished thanks to the hard working sincerely kind and most gracious front reception supervisor Michael who made me feel valued as a guest in your delightful hotel .Despite the late hour Michael was most warm and friendly towards not just myself ,but other guests checking in yesterday evening .
