Very handy for Piccadilly Line at Hounslow Central and convenient for local buses. Nice clean comfortable room, pleasant and helpful staff and excellent price value compared with more centrally located hotels.

All the staff at the London Hounslow Travelodge are excellent. When we stayed overnight to meet family from Heathrow airport we couldn’t have been made more welcome! In particular, thanks to Amit for his help with parking.

Had a most pleasurable weekend at The Hounslow Travel Lodge with my excitable Grand Son (Carl). We had separate rooms as Carl seems to prefer it that way. Check-in was a doddle! Ellie’s consummate efficiency on the front desk sped us comfortably through the whole process in approximately 4 and a half minutes. Well done Ellie – you’re a credit to the organisation. We stayed on the business floor, which was a real treat. To think of all the huge corporate deals that had been transacted (on that very floor) was extremely exhilarating! The bar area slightly lacked atmos, but you can imagine the business dudes chillaxing there after securing their big deals – slacks clad and ready to party! Give this hotel a try – you won’t regret it for sure!!

Very clean. My grandfather and I were delighted to be allocated two rooms up on the ‘business floor’. At the top of the hotel, you get a much better nights sleep without all the usual door banging and stomping above. The bar was rather sad and lacked atmosphere. Ellie on reception made up for that though with her welcoming demeanour - a real asset to Travelodge Hounslow. My only criticisms concern the bathroom. The toilet paper is wafer thin (risky) and the shower very narrow. Due to the confined space the shower curtain tends to stick to your back which becomes irritating. It also makes you wonder how many other backs it has been previously attracted to.

After a heavy night out I came on a quiet Tuesday night and was greeted at the front desk by a pleasant young man by the name of AJ. I wasn’t sure if I was going to stay here or at another hotel but he was so friendly and made me feel very welcome that I couldn’t help but book a room. The drinks at the bar were great, the room was clean & to my standards and AJ + other staff were always helpful when I needed it. Another delight I could mention is Renata who served me drinks at the bar. Whilst I was downstairs she looked after me and made sure everything was suffice. A hotel is a hotel at the end of the day as long as you’ve got a bed to sleep on, but the friendly staff is what makes this hotel distinguished from the rest. Splendid

Thoroughly disappointed with our stay at London Hounslow. The hotel looks old and smells throughout like stale smoke! Our room was was clean and tidy but again, it stank of stale smoke. We were very much looking forward to sleeping in on Sunday morning and going down for breakfast at 10:30am considering it is served up until 11am so this is what we did and the attitude of the staff in the restaurant towards us was very unwelcoming. Considering we were well within the time limits for breakfast you would expect there to be the full selection of food available that was paid for! This was not the case. There were no pastries, yoghurts or pancakes available. All the plates, mugs, glasses and cutlery had already been packed away and when we asked for them the staff member member huffed and puffed and literally threw them down on the counter for us. The cooked selection of food was meagre. The 3 remaining pieces of bacon were luke warm and looked like they had been keeping warm for a considerable amount of time. There were just enough mushrooms left for the two of us but they were cold. The scrambled eggs were disgusting, they had developed a hard crust on the outside where I can only assume they had been kept warm for far too long. There were no fried eggs available and the hash browns were a soggy mess! The only good thing was the coffee and toast! Overall I am incredibly disappointed :(

Due to my work commitments, I sometimes stay this hotel. However, it was the last time for me to stay this particular hotel. It’s a “ travelodge”, you can’t expect a lot. Normally, I’m more than happy to stay there. I know what I paid for. However, this time was different. The room was dusty and had an awful musty smell. I should have asked the receptionist to change the room but I didn’t want to bother him as I saw he was already dealing with a difficult customer. ( also, because of this, I had to wait for checking in…) So I opened the window (can’t open fully though) and freeze myself for a few hours but the smell never changed so I gave up. I had 2 nights stay and unfortunately, my day 1 was my virtual training day. So, I had to stay this musty room whole day and I started to have light allergic reaction (I have a house dust allergy). To make matters worse, I noticed that the cups and spoons for teas and coffee were used and unwashed !!! I really doubt their quality of hygiene!!! I never had such a bad experience at this hotel. And on day 2, I have asked to borrow an iron as my next day, I need my work shirt to be nicely ironed… but all irons had melted plastic on them and none of them were usable. I still borrowed one to try ironing my shirts but it wasn’t possible. I don’t live super far, but for my 2days training course. the early morning training for day 2, and nice quiet hotel room for my day virtual learning. I thought I should stay there 2 nights. However, I ended up traveling back home to get my ironed shirts. As I said, I have never had a very bad experience in this hotel before and perhaps, it was my unlucky day. But I decided that I would never ever stay this hotel again. I travel a lot and stay from 1 star to 5 stars hotels. And it was the worst ever hotel room in my life.

Stayed at many Travelodge hotels and chose this one for a 2night weekend stay. Meghna was amazing checking me inn and all was well… until… Sunday 05/03/23 afternoon 4 pm and the bar/restaurant was closed.. I wondered out to an Indian take away down the road and came back to the restaurant, sat in a corner to eat my curry and rice. I’m the middle of my dinner and a bar man came to me at 5pm to say you’re not allowed to eat outside food here. I did say I didn’t want my room to smell of curry and the bar/restaurant was closed. He said you wouldnt take Nando’s food to eat at mc Donald’s- NO I wouldn’t at I don’t pay to stay at McDonalds. What a patronising comment to make. I did request as I’m in the middle of my dinner and a paying patron and staying at the hotel and not wanting my room to smell of curry if I could finish my meal and he said no. I packed my food in the middle of eating and ate it in the stairwell of the 5th floor. Totally outrageous and never experienced anything like this. Whilst complaining might I add to all the drivers out there. There is NO parking at this hotel. They say use Asda car park but that is a 13min walk NOT 5 mins. Deffo left a sour taste to an otherwise ok stay.
