We booked through hotels.com and paid in full 3 months in advance we were turned away on the day saying they were overbooked. It’s now 6 weeks and in still waiting for a refund all contact number on the website and all places you can book them with are invalid and even hotels.com cannot get hold of them avoid at all costs .

This place is truly awful. Be aware don't ignore the bad reviews (mainly because the better reviews haven't been written by guests but by people who work at the hotel themselves) They gave a completely different room to the one I booked, they said it was an upgrade. It was NOT!. I'm on different hotels every week, and I only book hotels with soundproof rooms when in London. This is advertised as such, the rooms are not soundproof in any way or form. You can hear not just the heavy traffic and every single plane as if you're sleeping on the tarmac of the airport, but literally you hear every one conversations, someone coughing outside. The bedding hasn't even been changed when I arrived, full of hair and bread (the previous guest probably ate there). And finally you'd think a hotel would have curtains to block out of the light coming from the outside (at night, this is London), they have paper blinds and you can see every single light outside, people moving etc...imagine if you want to sleep during the day. The staff is terrible. Just a bunch of people who sit on the reception on their phones (probably writing reviews about themselves)...If you book a hotel to sleep, avoid this place at all cost. If you fancy listening to every single plane landing and departing, every single guest conversation, every person walking pass outside then feel free to book this awful place for the this crap experience...or just sleep in any Heathrow terminal.

I stayed at this hotel as a walk in (something I know nothing about) they charged me at least double of booking.com price. To top that off, I had no sleep due to a security light constantly going on and off all night, lumpy pillows and the stale stench of men's aftershave. I had also booked breakfast, but after seeing what someone else had I refused. It was all black and drenched in oil.

We stayed in this 'hotel'??? For one night. The staff were friendly and helpful on where to park the car, which cost £10 For the night. The rooms we had were on the 1st floor at our request because of my vision problem. We had 2 rooms. They were very small and cramped. One room with a double bed had to be pushed up to the wall, so to get out to use the bathroom was a nightmare in the night. Extremely hot and too noisy with the window open. 2nd room even smaller with a sliding bathroom door that stuck when closed. We had breakfast, it was at least edible but it was served in our room, not room service, the plates had to be placed on the bed. Not a great experience.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting in treating its customers. We booked a stay at Christmas, before any tiers were annouced, unfortunately over Christmas both the area which the hotel is located and our area were in tier 4. Therefore it was illegal for us to to travel as well as them to have us for our leisure stay. Although our other hotels which we booked around the same period informed us that they wouldn't be able to facilitate us and cancelled and refunded our stay this hotel didn't. So we wanted to make sure the stay was cancelled so we began calling. The number provided by both google and booking.com is invalid, we tried to call over and over again was invalid. I emailed just to be sure. No reply. We assumed the hotel had closed under the current circumstances. On Christmas day we received an email from the hotel an automated one, totally disregarding my emails. I replied back. Nothing. I had to spend hours on the phone to booking. Com for them to eventually find a number which was supposedly the mangers. Spoke to him on day 1 he said he would call back. Didn't. This carried on for three days each time he promised his manager would call us back. Nothing. We have messaged over and over. Nothing. Booking. Com policy states that the hotel is in charge of refunds etc so they said they were unable to offer more support but a voucher to the same hotel for the same amount. We explained that after being treated this way we did not want to stay at the hotel ( on top of all the wasted time, affectively stealing our money, the manager was also very rude to my husband after he called for the 3rd time trying to speak to this his manager) and actually we no longer had the reason to stay there atall. The drive is 1 1/2 hours away. Our family had a house nearby and we were spending Christmas with them. They are due to move in February. So there would be absolutely no reason why we would stay in that location. Anyway booking. Com just advised us to keep trying the hotel. It is nearly a month since and absolutely NOTHING. I am amazed this hotel is still open! Absolutely awful. I am currently in the process of reporting this 'hotel'. DO NOT RECOMMEND
