After a long travel day, we ended up with a major issue at a campground we were to stay at in Lancaster County. We ended up calling Beacon Hill last minute for a 5 night stay and thankfully they were able to accommodate us. The woman I spoke to was incredibly helpful, ensuring we had a spot and helping refer us to a repair shop for a hydraulic issue nearby. We arrived after leaving the "other" campground and loved our site at Beacon Hill. We were up front (Site 46) and while we faced the road, we had a HUGE front yard and thoroughly were entertained with the Amish farm life and horse and buggies coming and going literally all the time. Many Amish simply road by on their foot powered scooters as well. There was a lovely Amish farm right next to us so it was an up-close and personal experience seeing that. We appreciated this park being adult and quiet! We relaxed in the afternoons outside taking it all in and throughout the days visited the area. We got to see and do alot and loved being in the heart of Lancaster County. Thank you Beacon Hill for being so accommodating to us, helpful and pleasant. A couple young Amish girls from the next door farm came through the campground one afternoon peddling their homemade cookies and breads. How could we not enjoy those? Awesome.

Love this place. It’s quiet. We stayed in a cabin that was impeccably clean. We had our own fire pit. The porch was relaxing. Bathrooms are very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you Krista. Intercourse is walking distance. Would come back. Sits are close to one another and internet service very limited.

Hubby & I purchased our first motor home on Monday, April 26th ( From Pete's RV, I highly recommend them). In order to work out the kinks of first time ownership, we chose a campground that was near the dealership and headed there for a few days. That campground was Beacon Hills Campground. BHC is a community for campers over the age of 16. It is surrounded by Amish farmland and is an incredibly relaxing place to visit. We were in Site #5, in the upper part of the campground. There was nothing behind us, except grassy, farmland and trees. It was the perfect location for us and our little Bichon. We met many wonderful and kind campers, that were repeat visitors from out of State ( that is always a good sign, when they travel here several times per year). We had a full hook up site and everything worked very well. They offer Wi-Fi, which is adequate. There is a small laundry room, which also has books and games that campers can borrow. The bathroom/shower areas were absolutely spotless, as was the entire campground. We had an issue with service, that required us to extend our stay on short notice, and the owners were extremely kind and accommodating. We are already planning a return visit!

We stayed here for 1 night in September 2020 with a 40' motorhome. We barely fit on the site and had a hard time not sticking out into the road. We towed a Smart Car which is a tiny vehicle and didn't have room for it on the lot. We paid $53/night for 50 amp service. We got a 40 foot rectangle. No fire pit. Could practically touch our neighbor's camper. We asked if they had internet and they said "no - we have no amenities". When I checked in, I asked if they had wi-fi and they said yes. We were confused. Yes, there is a nice Amish farm across the street and yes, it is adults only. Way too small to ever stay here again.

Thank you for your review. We are a small, quiet adult campground and have been a campground for 47 years. The sites are not huge, but we can guarantee that it will be a peaceful stay. We do have portable fire rings that are available for every site and we are happy to bring one to your site upon request. Our guests like that they can kick back and relax across from an Amish farm while still being walking distance from Intercourse Village. We wish you the best as you travel!!

My wife picked this campground for a quick weekend away. The camp ground itself was very clean. The office did close at 5:30pm so it was a strange trip for us never actually going to the office. The sites were small and close together but well maintained. Saturday afternoon an Amish woman came by and knocked on our door selling baked goods. Very nice cherry pie.
