We visited here with family on a trip to see them. We have been before and had great meals. This time was no exception for 3 out of 4 of us. All 3 starters (only 3 had them) were beautiful. 3 of the mains were lovely hug I had steak and it was not the best piece of meat for...

We stayed here following a wedding at Polhawn Fort - everything about it was wonderful. Erica was very patient with me when I couldn't get the bath running hot water, and also when I spilt a glass of wine on the floor of the bar!! We had dinner on Thursday night and it was just wonderful, and very reasonable for...

As part of a tour round Cornwall, we booked two nights at this pub. Room may be small but very comfortable. Staff very friendly and beautiful views. Best feature is the food served in the restaurant. We ate there both nights though nearly didn't get a table on the second night as it is so popular. We had lobster, fish...

We stayed the night in Torpoint recently as my step son was passing out in the Navy at HMS Raleigh, so we travelled down from Cardiff. I always check out local pubs/inns/restaurants on trip adviser prior to going anywhere new. Finnygook was number 1, so we felt we had to try it for ourselves, so reserved a table. So glad...

Nice character inside the pub and the food is of a good average standard, good sized portions, good flavour and value for money. Will definitely fill you up. Service was ok staff were friendly. Have been there twice now.

This pub had it all. The best lobster I have ever had, a comfortable room and even though we were only staying the one night a great table in the restaurant. The room a twin had space and character was very clean and it had a bath which was just what you need after a walk from Looe.

A large pub with small rooms. Ours had one of those hand held shower contraptions. Never got on with those! Nothing really bad about the place. The beers good. The food is very good. The staff are all friendly. If you're arriving by car or bike then there's a huge car park. There's plenty of space to spread about in...

My wife and I had a perfect two night stay here in mid May. Nice, simple room but very comfortable and ours had a cracking view across the river to Dartmoor in the distance. Breakfast was delicious, great beers from the bar and the food in the evening was very tasty - have the fish pie! All the staff that...

This is a traditional country pub in the village of Crafthole in the "forgotten corner" of Cornwall. It is half a mile from the sea at Portwrinkle. Satnavs will take you to the small, and uninspiring, rear of the building but a short drive around the corner will take you to the larger main car park and attractive frontage. Downstairs...
