Stayed here the night before visiting HMS Raleigh which was only a 5 minute drive away. Staff were very efficient and gave a warm welcome. They had some knowledge in the way things a Raleigh are run so we're able to advise the best times to leave and even advised of road works etc in the area. Rooms were well...

We live fairly locally and wanted a nice quiet meal out without the kids. Our first time here and it was fabulous. Lovely location, 'proper' cooked food (not wholesalers fayre) and super friendly staff. Just perfect, thank you.

Gorgeous location and one of the friendliest places we have ever stayed in. A real country retreat with fires and comfy sofas. Dogs are made very welcome though there were no dogs staying this weekend. Steve and the staff are absolutely amazing and will do anything to help you with your stay or give advice on nearby attractions. The food...

The Liscawn is set in beautiful countryside and is a lovely old building. I visited last week when going to an event at the nearby naval base (which is only a 10 minute drive away). We had dinner in the hotel both nights and it was really good, traditional food very well done. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were...

This hotel is a great place to stay with comfortable rooms and great food. The only thing not the best is the power showers but then that is the case all over England. Would stay again just to have that huge breakfast again.

The hotel stands alone in a most attractive countryside location and had a wonderfully relaxed feel. We enjoyed a large ensuite room (Rm 5) with a beautiful natural stone wall and a superbly comfortable bed. The restaurant was excellent: fresh food slzzling on a hot slate platter and cheerful, attentive service. Parking could not be easier. One small downside: the...

All hotels in Plymouth were full so I had to go further afield. Glad I did. I will be back. This is a lovely hotel, clean, tidy, friendly staff, tasty food. I had to leave early, prior to breakfast being served, so they even left me a packed breakfast out.
