Highfields is run by Dave and Lisa. It is a very nice place to stay in. The room was really clean, the bed very comfortable, breakfast was excellent. Breakfast runs from 9 - 12 which gives you plenty of time for a lie in. Everyone is very helpful and the place has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

We had a lovely long weekend here with our dog and Dave's breakfast was excellent and so was his attentive service. Highfields is in a great position where you can walk easily to the Pubs in the village or to Crantock beach which is superb.

A friend held his 70th birthday party for almost 40 people at the hotel and many of us also stayed there. The hotel was very clean, very comfortable; staff were welcoming. The owner cooked the wonderful three course meal - food absolutely delicious; beautiful presentation, tables dressed out in their finest! The atmosphere of the whole weekend was brilliant. Couldn't...

Spent two nights here whilst visiting relatives & it is really nice. Very pleased with the room (Room 8) which had a mega bed plus a bed settee so it was good to have somewhere to sit other than on the bed. Distant sea view & very quiet at night. Breakfast was served in the attached cafe which was most...

We visited twice for breakfast on our recent stay in Crantock after finding this lovely dog friendly tea room last year. The flat white coffee is very nice and served hot, one morning we had a sausage and egg bap which was very nice, good quality and tasty sausages served in nice fresh bread. On our second visit we had...
