We visited here with quite a large family group, unsure of what we were going to find but booked solely on location. We arrived on site at around 11am, knowing check in wasn’t until 3pm but had family here already so planned on going to them first. I went to find reception where I found the owner Tracy, she told me that my caravan had been cleaned so we could have our keys, this was a godsend after our 8 hour drive to get here! There’s a little board at reception, in view where the keys are placed when the caravan has been cleaned, they happily hand these out to anyone that arrives early if van is ready. Once we got to our caravan, again I was pleasantly surprised, big spacious modern caravan overlooking the River Gannel, fabulous views.
On-site there is pub which serves food, the menu isn’t huge but the food is lovely, you can chose to sit inside or out, there’s a laundrette & a lovely out door swimming pool which we made use of nearly every day, it’s not heated but it never really felt overly cold, our kids loved it and so did the adults. Next door is the Parkdean site where there’s a small pub, shop and amusements which were handy during our stay. The local village has 2 great pubs & they’re only a 5 minute walk away, both serve good food. Though the site theres a path down some fields down to the beach which is the main reason we booked here, coming in August we didn’t want to be driving about spending time looking for parking spaces, the walk is about 10 minutes, it’s an easy walk which we did daily with our children & the beach is the most beautiful beach with soft golden sand.
We will definitely return here over any of the other sites we’ve previously stayed at over the years, they don’t over change for their caravans and the owners can’t do enough to help you.

Amazing site and lovely staff!
I used to camp here as a kid and this July we decided to take our first Cornwall road trip in our camper so we booked one night at quarry fields for some nostalgia… we ended up staying 5 nights!! It has every facility you could want, toilets, showers, outdoor showers, laundrette, bar, restaurant and take away, a pool, a shop and chippy in walking distance and you can walk to the beach it is literally a slice of paradise!

The staff are incredible and can’t help you enough, our dog became very ill and they helped us find a vets quickly, always checked in to see how she was doing and even allowed us to stay parked up until her next appointment!

I’m so so sad to leave today but I honestly can’t thank Quarry fields enough, please do come and check this campsite out because you will love it guaranteed.
Lots of love
Lauren, Adam from Cobra Seats!😂 and Izzy and Charlie 🐾

We can’t wait to return already x

My inlaws invited us to holiday with them this year at the Parkdean at Crantock Bay but as we have a campervan we decided to look for a site close by to accommodate us for the week and was over the moon to find Quarryfields right next door.
Small access roads to the site so beware for ant behemoth tourers but when you arrive it is a large open site with very generous pitches. We were greeted by a very friendly lady in reception and directed to our pitch which was being occupied so she said to choose another empty one in the area and we chose 126 which was on the end and with lots of space.
Honestly when I first arrived I wasn't overly impressed as it is so very open with rows and rows of pitches with no privacy and didn't look like somewhere we would be able to relax in but I was so wrong.
We soon parked up and pitched our awning, the pitches can be gently sloping so bring your levellers, and we were ready to explore.
The toilets, showers and facilities were all really well kept with plenty of hot water and cleaned regularly. The dish washing area was brilliant and with instant hot water and plugs!!!
Ok so on to the location. Wow and wow again! Some amazing views views from the site in all directions. Yes the sea view is quite a distance away but the tranquility of the area in it's secluded area is brilliant. We were right at the back of the park so there wasn't any passing vehicle noise and we had some of the best nights sleep in ages. There is a path down to Crantock beach which has some glorious views and the river Gannel was perfect for us to use our paddle boards.
Crantock village is a 5 minute walk down the road with a couple of nice pubs and tea rooms and is very picturesque. A short drive in any direction there are many places to visit and it is a brilliant base to explore Cornwall.
The Q Inn is a lovely little restaurant/bar and with gorgeous views over towards Newquay from the beer garden. We didn't use the pool as we didn't have time but it looked well maintained and was a proper little sun trap!
We had a fabulous week in this little piece of heaven and I cried buckets when we had to leave. So many happy memories made here and I don't like to go back to the same place twice but will definitely have to make an exception for Quarryfields!

We arrived after the office had closed, went in the clubhouse bar and the lady went directly to the office and booked us in, given a free choice of electric pitch . We were made to feel very welcome, the pitch was a good size. The toilet and shower block were kept very clean, showers were great plenty of hot water. Clubhouse was only opened after 1730hrs food and drinks were reasonably priced, food was great. Crantock village and beach were fantastic within walking distance. Would highly recommend a stay.

This is an excellent site. It is in a fantastic location with a lot of good walks in the area including ones to the beach and estuary. The village is close by with 2 very nice pubs. As tis was late season the on site pub had just closed which is understandable and no issue at all. The site next door still had an open bar and fish and chip shop. How good is it? Already booked for next year says it all :)

The campsite is clean, spacious, large pitches, amazing powerful showers and a great little pub on site with lovely food at a great price. There is also a little shop which stocks most things. The walk down to Crantock Beach is only 15 mins away and the walk back through the village stopping off at the pubs is a must, then back up the hill to the campsite is only another 10 mins. The village is lovely. There is also a walk by the river which is just out of the campsite entrance to the left either over the stile and through the field, or carry on down the road until you reach another tiny single track road on the left and it takes you down to the river with a lovely walk which eventually leads to the beach and back around to Crantock. We booked before we left - we love it here!! What a find!!

We have been camping here many times but this was our first time in one of the caravans. The van we had was one of the new vans and was spacious and well equipped.

The park was v clean and tidy, we did have drinks at the on-site pub and although we didn’t eat there the food was reasonably priced.

The location is great for the beach and village. A short walk through the neighbouring site was best for the walk down to the beach.

Room Tip: You can use the shop on the site next door. The best route to the beach is through that site too.

Lovely campsite. Spacious pitches for van, facilities are extremely clean. Lovely pool, park, cafe , shop on site. Everything you could possibly need all in one space. Electric hook up was really handy. And to top it off a 20 minute walk down to the beach!! Highly recommed

In the bottom field, just ask the owners who will put you in a van with a sea or Gannel river view, they are very helpful, Simon and his wife run the site
