Visited this place for lunch after a long walk. The slightly quirky barman / owner (?) found us a table which gave us chance to appreciate the very impressive decor / make over which this place received about 2 years ago. Lunch was very tasty / well presented and good value for money. The only gripe was that it was...

We were staying nearby in Whitsand Bay and were recommended to visit here. The food was wonderful as was the red wine and the amaretto coffees! Well worth a visit, good pub, great food, and good atmosphere.

This was a visit to 'chill out' for the weekend. Kingsand is a peaceful picturesque old fishing village and the hotel is in the centre of it located 100mts from the waters edge. The room was very comfortable and peaceful, very tastefully decorated. My experience in the restaurant is memorable, the quality of the food was excellent, far in excess...

Stumbled upon this great pub after a long walk. Despite being an obviously busy Sunday lunchtime the owner (I guess he was the owner) found us a table, brought us menus and ensured we had drinks. Lovely atmosphere with a very friendly vibe. Although we only had a sandwich each and some chips the food was gorgeous and sandwiches huge!...

The chances are you've never been to the coastal villiages of Kingsand and Cawsand unless you are lost or have been recomended. Anyway, should you happen to want to take a look at this unspoilt part of cornwall, just around the corner from Plymouth, may I suggest you try and get a room at the Halfway. The whole pub has...

Excellent place to stay. Food was superb, rooms were very plush and comfy. Beach is 30 second walk away and cheap carparking next door. Staff were very friendly and helpful and pointed us in the right direction for touristy things. We loved it and will be back!!

Loved the décor and ambience of the Inn together with the friendly welcome, it made for a very pleasant dining experience after a good days walking. The food and drinks were all excellent and served quickly. We...

Comfy room, lovely bath/shower room, view onto street, if you put your head against the wall on the left hand side of window you can see the sea. Noisy, until the extractor fan below our window, cuts out, and early morning deliveries are finished ! There is only a mirror in the bathroom, so if you need to dry your...

I booked a table here for a large group. The pub has recently been refurbished and looks gorgeous. It is in a very central part of the village right near the sea. When we arrived the table was all ready for us. The service was excellent throughout the meal and the food was wonderful. I had beer battered fish and...
