We stayed here whilst we were on a cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats. The staff were so unbelievably kind and hospitable - they event made a contribution to our charity! The food was amazing and the rooms were very comfortable. They catered to our every need and we wish we could have stayed for longer! Thank you so much!

Absolutely chaos.. Surely this restaurant management have chosen the wrong line of business as the manager was more interested in her mobile than get food delivered over to customers.. More than 2 hours to get food done and absolutely no sense of urgency or customer service. Pricey, and food wasn't special at all. No questions asked about names and contact details for Covid19 tracing. Avoid at all costs.

We went to this pub a few times on our holiday every time we were greated by very friendly staff. We had food there on 2 of our visits and both times the food was excellent. It was just really good home cooked food done very well. Wish we had a local pub like this at home. Next time we are down that way it's top of the list for a night out. Would definitely recommend giving it a go if your near Lostwithiel.

Had a warm welcome and excellent service and food. Good choice on menu. I had the BBQ Spare Ribs on the special menu and it was delicious. My mom had the duck and sister had the sea bass. Both said the meals were very tasty.

I eat at The Earl of Chatham relatively regularly. The food is simply superb and delicious!!! Sunday lunch is a particular joy! Customer service is excellent; friendly, professional and courteous. In my view, it is quite simply the best local pub to eat.

No trouble booking in, we were a party of 5, so had all 3 rooms, nice and clean, lovely beds, and plenty of hot water and nice showers. The landladies, staff very helpful,we had a lovely meal, on our 1st evening which we had previously booked for 8,o’clock,but as we had arrived earlier than we thought, they were quite happy to make it earlier for us. We all had different meals and everyone enjoyed them! Lastly we enjoyed our lovely breakfasts, which Jackie was quite happy to extend for us to include fruit and yogurt!,thanks Jackie.

Hi, Thank you for your review. I am so sorry, but you have clearly been overcharged by accident. . Our coke and lemonade price is £1.70 a half pint, so you should have been charged £6.80.. If you would like to call in or ring us we can refund you the difference. So sorry, but accidents occasionally happen. Regards Jackie
