Coastal, colourful and creative—since 1959. Just above Mawgan Porth beach, Bedruthan is a cliffside outpost of art and nature. An unexpected Scandi Modern retreat, combining bright Danish design with Californian architecture and Cornish sea air. Bedruthan was always designed as a place for making the most out of these calm coastal days—and sixty years on, we’ve stayed true to that original, easy-living ideal. Two restaurants serve good-natured, sustainable food: The Wild Café is for casual post-surf cooking, while the smaller Herring is for more intimate evenings of slowly-perfected food. A large communal spa offers a relaxed place of wellbeing, featuring a caldarium, steam room, sauna and holistic treatments (or try Nordic thermal therapy in the outdoor Sensory Spa Garden). The hotel’s art gallery exhibits new Cornish art with a lean towards the abstract, keeping in touch with the nearby artist communities.

My husband and I had a fantastic night away using the Winter Deal Break. This included 1 night, dinner and breakfast with spa access. All great value for money. Spectacular sea view room, food was delicious and the spa was inviting and relaxing.

Return trip to celebrate a friend's birthday. Smooth check in with lovely welcome as returning guests. Great dinner and fab breakfast which was way above expectations. Only down side was that public areas were chilly at best, cold at worst. Thanks for providing the lovely blanket for my bed. Kept awake til 2am because of repeating bass sound but should have reported to reception who might have been able to resolve.

We visited Bedruthan this weekend as a girls weekend, selected after a few nice visits independently. The spa visit was just as before and enjoyable and the rooms were still lovely. Unfortunately the bar, and particularly the restaurant service was appalling and so slow, and the dinner....well, just don't even bother! Disgusting overpriced food which took absolutely ages. All in a restaurant filled with abandoned tables of used dinner plates and glasses. The staff were just not with it at all either.... too much Zen or something stronger we wondered? Other guests were walking out after waiting so long. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise and still lovely though. Loveky location and decent rooms and spa, but head to Catch down the road for a decent lunch/dinner!

Friendly welcome to this fabulously located hotel, with amazing views. We stayed ina seats view villa, which was spacious, warm and comfortable. Bathroom was a little compact but the shower was amazing. Very relaxed atmosphere and very safe with covid safe practices in place. Food was delicious with a reasonable menu choice but drinks are a little pricey specially the wine. The Spa facilities looked amazing but on a personal choice we decided not to try it out on this occasion. Views were amazing and a great base for coastal walks. Really enjoyed our stay in the tranquil and beautiful surroundings.
