Sarah & Roy have got it exactly right, they are welcoming hosts without being intrusive. Everything has been thought of even down to comfy bathrobes and hurrah "proper" sized soaps and other toiletries!!!! Our room was spotlessly clean, beds comfortable and plenty of beverages to choose from. Breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented. A lovely view of the cove. The...

A lovely guest house tucked away in Portmellon Cove, a short distance from the old fishing village of Mevagissey and well-placed for sightseeing in Cornwall. We stayed for three nights towards the end of October and would have stayed longer had we been able to. Our room, the Landyrock suite, faced out to the back garden and offered superb views...

We booked directly with Portmellon Cove and further checked that our arrival time of 6pm to 7pm was okay, it was. We arrived just after 6:30 pm and received a very warm welcome. Our room was very comfortable with a large comfy bed and all the facilities we'd read about on the site. The view out over the garden and...

Upon arrival at the B&B late in the afternoon the front of the property was locked up and I spent several minutes ringing/knocking to no avail. I then took the advice "we may be in the garden" and walked down the path to the rear of the house. The rooms at the rear were vacant with not a soul to...

A really comfortable guest house, fabulous views, varied breakfast menu, spacious and clean. Huge glass patio doors looked out over the cove, very exciting watching the waves break over the sea wall at high tide. We're not serious walkers but managed the walk into mevagissey without any trouble and found it a perfect spot from which to visit Heligan, Fowey,...
