We camped here for the weekend 19/21 May, two adults, two kids. After booking online we were contacted by reception who queried how our folding camper worked so that she could select the right pitch for us, all in all it seemed as thought nothing was too much trouble for them. On arrival we found our pitch to have great...

We love the fact that the pool is warm and inviting for us and the children but the changing facilities are just awful . Always feels so grotty and is such a shame as could be a wonderful place. Needs some kind of ventilation aswell . The cafe attached is great though!

Fabulous stay at Whitsand bay, beautiful location, fantastic lodges, lovely carvery. Would recommend all year round and especially for a lovely getaway from it all. We had lodge number 12, perfect for 6 people. Nice location on site.

We spent 4 days in our campervan at Whitsand Bay Fort over the Christmas break and arrived home yesterday. We had a level hard standing pitch with electric hook up which was not too far from the shower and toilet facilities. These had plenty of hot water and were kept clean but could do with a bit of tlc. We...

Came here without checking the reviews, and I'm glad. Was initially disappointed because someone hadn't moved off our pitch and we lost it for the weekend, but we were given an outer one which overlooked te forts, was sheltered, caught the sun and you could see an amazing view a few paces away. The burger was OK but the cheese...

The lodges are absolutely lovely, brilliant location but the camping looks terrible - tatty and sunk below the level of any kind of view. Typical Cornwall, maximum cost, minimum effort put in by our "hosts".

My partner and I chose to elope to get married here. I spoke to Kate through email to organise the wedding and finalise the details. It was just my husband to be and myself that were travelling to Whitsand, and after looking through many great reviews, still didn't really know what to expect. It was a 5 hour journey away...

4 night stay in our motorhome. Restaurant food very good, especially Sunday cavery. Shower block bit tired but nice hot showers & clean. Although we didn't use the Poole it was always busy, locals & holidaymakers. Amazing views. Bus stops outside gate. Very friendly staff. Excellent tour of fort on Sunday. Would certainly visit again.

Went here from Friday-Monday for a family wedding, we hired the lodges which were fantastic, well equipped and very clean. The food was exceptional hot and plentiful, nothing was to much trouble, and as a wedding venue you can't go far wrong.
