Stayed here for a week in Sept,16. One of the best guest houses in Cornwall! Best breakfast ANYWHERE. Poached eggs to die for. Could not praise Mike and Susie enough. Excellent hosts! We left there wanting more.

We were very warmly welcomed by Mike who clearly enjoys what he does. On arrival he apologised that the cleaner had let him down in our room, it was not so spotless as I would have liked. The teapot still had leftover tea in in and there was a dirty spoon on the floor. Being the first holiday in 12...

We travelled with our 1 year old on a long weekend to cornwall and stayed at the Penarth Guest house. It is an excellent B&B, Mike, the host, is most accommodating, providing a travel cot in our room. There is a range of delicious locally sourced products on offer for breakfast which Mike cooks fresh. The location is excellent for...

It's been a few months since I stayed at Penarth Guest House but I remember my experience there so well! It was by far the best accommodation I have had the pleasure to find this year. My partner and I stayed there for 3 nights and were pleasantly welcomed by our host Mike. The interior was spotless from dining room...

Mike & Susy couldn't do enough for us. We felt we had known them for years instead of just meeting them. Our room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly recommend them.

Arrived on a miserable day and were greeted warmly. Shown to a lovely, comfortable room on the first floor which was absolutely spotless. We spent three nights and the hospitality we were shown was faultless. From directions to the Brittania pub about a mile away, to walking to the Eden Project (20 minutes on foot) as we were going to...

Great place to stay when visiting The Eden Project, extremely friendly host, Mike. Noise that other reviewers have mentioned not a problem when we were there. Would go back there if necessary and would recommend to others planning a trip to The Eden Project or who want to stay in that area. Thank you Mike for a great stay. The...

We had driven for four hours often in torrential rain and heavy traffic: and, therefore, to be greeted by our host's, Mike's, broad smile and very comfortable accomodation was most welcome. Our room on the first floor at the front of the house with its king size bed, white furniture and well appointed en suite including bidet and excellent shower...

Lovely welcome from Mike. Room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable disappointed with road noise. A lovely breakfast. Went out for the day and came back to a room not serviced. Cups not cleaned, bed not made and no clean towels! This spoilt the whole stay.
