Have visited several times this year and whilst the welcome is always warm the food can be disappointing. Sunday lunch was great value for money and excellent portion but I ate there the next Saturday evening and the burger and chips I had was poor (dry) and unexpectedly poor quality ingredients, chips were indifferent and I thought over priced, so...

This is a good traditional hotel in a lovely location and is good value for money. The public areas ( bar, dining room) are nicely decorated with a cool elegance. The food is good particularly the breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only slight downside was our room (1) which was at the rear of the hotel, had no...

St Agnes hotel is small but in the heart of a lovely village. The room was comfortable and had a great view of the church, Drippy Stappy and up the high street. Evening meal was good only disappointing bit was breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

The final evening of our yearly SWCP-walking-holidays we spent in this lovely hotel. We had a cosy comfortable familyroom for four with our own bathroom. The beds were fine. We had a delicious dinner and nice wines and enjoyed ourselves highly in the nice restaurant/pub. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately we missed the bus the next morning and we...

I'm updating a previous review as we have just had another stay at the St Agnes Hotel and I felt it should be updated. Everything is as good as before, the hotel itself has had a bit of a facelift on the ground floor with the restaurant and bar areas re decorated and the old porch type entrance removed. Still...

We're lucky to be able to visit Cornwall 3-4 times per year. We always stay locally as it is an ideal base for touring. I can honestly say that the Tribute ale served in the St. Agnes Hotel is the finest I've ever tasted. It is worth going in just to taste this beer. Credit to the landlord for keeping...
