Staying with 2 friends in Nov 2016 as we would like to see the "Eden Project" nearby. The inn has 3 beds room which is quite rare to find even in big hotels. The hosts were so friendly and nice made us feel like home. The room was clean and comfy, plenty of coffee and teas and a water kettle... More

Lovely daft dog.Traffic can be a bit noisy (shut the window - sorted!) but what the hell its a nice place to be. Very conveniently positioned for Eden Project, Mevagissey & Charlestown -... More

From the initial welcome to the time of departure everything about our stay was superb. The room was comfortable and homely, the dinners and breakfasts were incredible and the setting was stunning. Guests are made to feel welcome to the point of feeling like part of the family but the professionalism of Francesca, Mark and the team was evident at... More

What an amazing place, a proper hidden gem. From the moment we arrived we (and our dog, Todd) were made to feel welcome. Although Francesca and Marc have only been here since 2011 the amount of work they have put into this place is amazing. The gardens with their ponds, waterfalls, seating areas and magnificent plants is a joy and... More

What a lovely place. Beautifully clean and very welcoming. Breakfast each day was excellent....as was the evening meal that we opted to have. An excellent menu and really high quality food. ....VERY reasonable cost. Very convenient for Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. We would definitely return to The Waterwheel. Lovely place and lovely people.

Just an overnight stay but clean and comfy and excellent breakfast. Really interesting building and would have liked to explore garden and well but no time. Evening menu looked good too but we arrived too late to eat. Big bonus was to find a dog friendly hotel and dog made to feel welcome
