My husband surprised me with a weekend away at this beautiful hotel. We were made very welcome and although we were too early to check into the room by the time we had eaten lunch and had a glass of wine the receptionist came to inform us our room was ready. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, though I did...

Stayed in the main house in courtyard room which overlooked a noisy extractor fan, so check when you book which way the room faces. The room was clean and modern with a walk-in monsoon shower. The star is the spa! Infinity pool, sauna and steam rooms pool side and therapy rooms to be pampered. Very good car park and the...

Lovely surroundings! A blonde receptionist greeted us and she was extremely rude and miserable at check in. It was our mini honeymoon and for what we paid we expected better.. Our room was downstairs although we requested an upstairs room. The room was dark and the toilet spelt of wee.. We were staying in a superior luxury room.. The telephone...

I rarely leave reviews but just wanted to leave this one as I had such a lovely time with my partner here. A spacious room with gorgeous views out over the front garden area and original hotel. Our package also included a 3 course meal at the Arboretum which was delicious. Would highly recommend

We spent one night in the hotel and then moved to a 'woodland home' when our family joined us. The hotel room was lovely with a balcony which we had not expected! On the morning of our move to the self catering 'home' the staff moved all our luggage, which enabled us to go out without waiting for the other...

Stayed for 2 nights in July. This hotel does not quite deliver on luxury. First the room we were given was in the White house ( Booked through secret escapes). The room looked out at the back of the kitchen and a large extractor fan which made a terrible noise. ( so bad I couldn't stay in the room )...

Booked a Woodlands lodge Room with Secret Escapes, stayed 3 nights. Price included full breakfast & £25 per person towards any meal. Total cost 429. Normal cost via hotel would be approx £258 per night inc breakfast. The room was lovely but very hot, no air conditioning, but we did leave the patio door open as very quiet location where...

Such a great place, we travelled as a family - two couples and mum so we had a three bedroom lodge. Recommended going for a platinum vista - we paid a little extra but had an uninterrupted view in front. There are lodges close together but you don't hear and hardly see anyone. Inside it's modern, spacious, wonderfully laid out...

Stayed here for 2 nights on valentines weekend. Our first weekend away at a spa hotel. On arrival the staff were so lovely and offered to take our bags to our rooms. Our room was great, very big, nice view and very clean. Breakfast was absolutely lovely and the staff were so helpful and polite. Spent a few hours in...
