This was a fantastic place to spend a few days in beautiful Cornwall. The cottage we stayed in was very well equipped and presented and the staff struck just the right balance. The area is wonderful with some lovely bays and fishing ports to visit such as Charlestown and Mevagissey. Also some nice local attractions a short drive away. We'll... More

Last time we stayed we were dog-less and were amazed and pleased with the level of comfort and space and cleanliness. This time we took our dog and noticed that the "dog house" is noticeably less luxurious. ( Well, naturally, it is dog proof) The whole estate was more worn down than three years ago and must surely be ready... More

Lovely place to stay, 3 bedroomed villa, pet free,(only one that is on this site). Very clean property with only minor faults. Good to stay in a place where I do not have to wash the cutlery and crockery before I use it!! Loved the hamper, quality products. Nice and quiet place to stay even though not far from a... More

We stayed here in two houses with our 2 daughters and their families (4 young children ranging from 2-7). This is our 4th time and once again we enjoyed our stay. However there are a few things which would make such a difference to the overall feel of the houses - such as dimmers for the sitting area (or more... More

Such a lovely stay here for the 2nd year running. The site and houses are lovely. Andrew (and a few other staff we encountered) was incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved every minute and hope to return again next year! :)

As our nine year old summed it up, "when we go back to England"... this Natural Retreat in Cornwall near St Austell felt as far away from London as Southern France. We came when the sun was in full force and temperatures hit 25. The retreat is ideally located - close enough to St Austell for shops, cinema on rainy... More

Great location, very quiet. Plenty space in the villa; all well presented and in good condition. A few minor niggles early on but the friendly and helpful resort team were quick to sort these out. One thing that would be helpful - more prominent signs on the public road, as it is an easy turn-off to miss!

A really comfortable place to relax and explore the local area. So much to do round and about that 5 days is just not enough. Even if the weather isn't great there are still plenty of activities or places to see and the team on site are so helpful, they can advise you and look after you so well

There were twelve of us, grandparents, children and grandchildren staying in two villas. The team at Natural Retreats were excellent from start to finish and ensured that the whole experience of our holiday from the initial enquiry to booking to arriving was stress free. The NR complex is well situated, well presented and well maintained. Villas were clean and a... More
