I've stayed at Boscundle Manor several times now, and every visit has been simply wonderful. Its well located for trips to the local beach, and exploring nearby places like Charlestown and Mevagissey. The Manor itself is beautiful, and the owners have worked hard to make it feel like a proper home from home. As soon as you walk in, it feels very restful - there aren't crowds of people which is exactly what you want in a hotel like this. The food is always incredible. You get a pre-breakfast bag delivered to your door every morning with a fresh muffin, cookie, orange juice, and milk. The actual breakfast is served downstairs, and there's always plenty of choice. The afternoon tea and sunday lunch is a must during your stay! The staff and owners are always really helpful and accommodating - nothing is too much trouble for them. I visit Cornwall frequently, and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.

Hotel's Favourite
The property is stunning both outside and in: gardens imaginatively designed and well maintained and the communal areas beautifully decorated for Christmas. Despite Covid we felt totally safe as the property was immaculately clean and all precautions in place. Our suite, Rebecca, was spacious and comfortable with well equipped bathroom with bath and shower. It was lovely to have an indoor pool . I could have stayed for ever.

We stayed in the Daphne Suit for a romantic weekend. The living room was a nice size but there was only one chair in the suit so it was a bit awkward when we got in a takeaway (the hotel having only breakfast and asking you not to picnic outside your room), but there is a comfy two-seater and they did provide plates and cutlery for us to use. The photos on the site show the nice big shower but don't quite do justice to the bath, which is big enough for two! There is a sizable dressing area between the bedroom and bathroom - shape defies calling it a room but lots of space! There is a door between the bedroom and dressing area, but not between the dressing area and bathroom... with the toilet facing the bathroom doorway some might find this awkward when you are getting ready for dinner but actually the wardrobe area and bedroom door are properly round the corner. Not a big deal but a door would be nice! The bed has two single mattresses, it was quite soft with fluffy pillows and a thick duvet - I thought maybe too thick for late simmer and felt a bit engulfed, but my partner was very happy and snug! I don't think there was AC available. The hotel was generally very quiet, it is close to the road but not busy. Our room was not so close to any others (it is over the breakfast room with the living room window looking directly into the conservatory, bedroom looks out over the garden), I think maybe a door off the dressing room led to another room (or maybe bathroom) but only noticed that once or twice. Mostly it felt very private and serene, like we were the only people there. Breakfasts were excellent, I tried most of the menu and can recommend it all. My partner is Vegan, we contacted the hotel about this in advance and they went out of their way to provide lots of vegan options at breakfast, not just the veggie-full-Cornish and she was very happy. They asked you to book your breakfast slot for the next day so that the conservatory was not too busy in the morning, which worked very well. there is one treatment room for massages etc, we had some with (resident therapist) Emma and can highly recommend! Everything was clean and well maintained, staff were friendly.

This place has become our new favourite! We stayed here this week in the Rebecca room! Wow, just wow! This was a surprise for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. We ending up having the whole pool to ourselves and had the fun of play pool in the bar. The staff were friendly, especially Deborah, she was fantastic, so lovely and gave us the best welcome. We honestly can’t wait to do another staycation and come back. The whole place felt and looked very clean. We just wish we could have spent more than one night instead of having to get home for work the next day. The little bag delivered in the morning was the cherry on top! All the little details were Perfect. The breakfast too was super scrumptious 😋 Thank you
