How thankful we were to happen upon this lovely welcoming home to stay in. We were greeted instantly with an offer of refreshments - tea, coffee, water and delicious home made fruit cake. It was a welcome relief to sink into comfortable chairs in the conservatory and enjoy these refreshments after considerable time driving around trying to find somewhere to... More

Booked at the last minute the owners could not have been more accommodating. I had a single room which was very comfortable, with everything you need. The next morning started with a breakfast to set you up for the day - no need for lunch!

My partner has difficulty with mobility. We were given a ground floor room with it own entrance and own bathroom with walk in shower. As my partner was unable to go to the dining room a table was set up in our room and every morning breakfast was brought to us in our room. Nothing was to much trouble and... More

We have stayed with Brian and Alison before. We are made so welcome with tea/coffee and cake on arrival. The room is always spotless and warm. Breakfast is the best we have ever had in a B&B with plenty of cereal toast and an amazing cooked breakfast. We will be returning...thank you Brian and Alison for the Cornish welcome.

Alison and Brian were the most lovely hosts. The house was beautiful and our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The breakfast provided was plentiful and delicious with freshly brewed coffee. Divine! Couldn't have stayed in a nicer place and the room rates were ridiculously reasonable.

A very comfortable and clean B&B. The owners, Alison and Brian, are very friendly without being intrusive. Breakfast served in a beautiful conservatory. Our room had a modern en-suite and there tea-making facilities. We really felt at home and nothing seemed too much trouble for Brian and Alison.

We happened on this by accident looking for a one night stay. The room was spotless, extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished. Brian and Alison were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and served in a wonderful conservatory dining room overlooking their lovely, well tended garden. We would highly recommend this. Excellent value for money.

Brian and Alison really made us welcome in their home. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the breakfasts delicious and the tea-pot always full. After our August bank holiday ventures we returned each evening to a cheerful reception and a genuine interest in how our activities had gone. Thank you both for a lovely Cornish break.

We chose this b&b as we were originally going to choose another one but our friends who we were going to see for a couple of days suggested this one.The room was on the ground floor and had a separate shower/toilet right next door.We also had our own exit on the ground floor with our own key so we did... We were camping in Cornwall when the weather really turned! The night we stayed at Oakleigh Lodge it was forecast torrential rain and high wind, so we pegged down the tent as best we could and booked in here! We had been to the Eden Project that day, and we drove to the B&B afterwards (it's about 4 miles away,... More
