Popped in for a beer and glass of vino and stayed for food. Staff were lovely and there was more than one vegan option, both of which were tasty and really good value. A real gem in the heart of St. Austell and would visit again if we're back down this way. Thanks

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, the pleasant service and the good food! Every one of the staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The atmosphere was casual but efficient and we would happily recommend this family-run hotel!

Great hotel in the heart of St Austell. Room was large and comfortable with great bathroom with large shower cubicle. Food in restaurant and bar was very good and varied too. Note that hotel car park is actually across the road from the hotel and on a different street (top of South Street as opposed to Church St, easy to spot once you know! The barrier opens automatically and then you get a code to exit from the hotel. However, what made the stay so good was the wonderful, friendly and efficient service we received from Andrew from the moment we signed in to the moment we left 3 days later. Nothing was too much trouble and he certainly went the extra mile to make sure our stay was fantastic, so many thanks!

There really is a warm welcome here and the staff are so lovely and accommodating - helping whenever asked. The food is also fabulous- breakfast and dinner. They are a great team and location perfect for Eden project and Fowey, Mevagussey. The hotel is a short walk up hill to bus and train station
