Just returned from a three for two break at Housel. It was just wonderful quite special. The owners, the staff, the food, the view from our room all contributed to making this a memorable weekend. We had dinner as a part of our package on the first two nights and found the standard so high that we stayed and ate...

We booked this a few months before going and upgraded upon arrival to room 5 a room on the wing, bathroom quite small but the the room compensates for this, other wing rooms have 4 posters, it's worth the £30 from a sea view room, as we found out and luckily had a wing room, breakfast was really good as...

We spent a few nights here in October 2016. It was relaxing, cosy and warm. The room was adequate, the food very good, the Service was extremely good. We were in easy reach of the Marconi Wireless station and the Lizard Lighthouse. These could be reached by walking along the Coast path.

Great food with an excellent view. It was £19.95 for three courses and every one cooked and presented beautifully. The service could have been a little more prompt (the wine was brought to the table unopened and stayed that way for 30 mins!) however it was always service with a smile and professionalism. Great view to top off a perfect...

Sheeesh! £7.50 for a scone and cream! Vastly overpriced but with superb views. They really need to take stock of the value proposition here. We didn't stay, but the breathtaking, teeth grinding price vis a vis the very acceptable but ordinary quality needs addressing. I guess mugs will continue to pay over the odds.... But maybe not you?

Went with family to celebrate a birthday. Had walked the coastal path along here several times and thought it very friendly with postcards out on the path suggesting afternoon teas, stop for coffee etc, open to non residents. Views are fantastic sitting looking out over the bay. Specials are the fish off the boats and we all thought excellent. I...

This hotel is so wonderfully located right on the rugged Lizard coastline and is an ideal base for coastal path walks. The views are breathtaking. Happy and accommodating staff are there to make sure that service is available at all times. The rooms are clean and well presented. The breakfast is divine.

What a very special place, I have been a travel agent for over 30 years and have stayed in many hotels all over the world, and Housel bay is definitely one of my favourites. As soon as you enter, you can totally relax, it has a lovely welcoming, chilled out atmosphere. The décor is just so lovely and would not...
