we had an excellent week with this delightful family who clearly enjoy looking after guests. The house was spotless and breakfasts good, enhanced by much table chat. The location, a short walk from probably Cornwall's best coastal path, meant we didn't use the car. Restaurants, pubs and shops all close to hand.

Came here recently over a bank holiday and had a great time. The journey there was a nightmare and we got stuck on the A30 for two hours at night due to a van fire on the highway. I called and the proprietor was kind enough to say don't worry about very late arrival. Thank heavens for that as it...

I stayed one night at The Caerthillian Guest House and had a wonderful time there. The exterior and interior of the guest house are elegant and tasteful. My room and its facilities were excellent too. Austin and Linda, the proprietors, are very friendly and make you feel at home.

Beautiful old home, lovely warm welcome, ideally located for walking the Cornish Coast path. Host was very attentive, room airy, most comfortable, could have stayed longer. Breakfast was also a feature, beautifully cooked and presented.

We stayed here for 2 nights a family wedding locally. Very comfortable and welcoming. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good - orders remembered on 2nd day. We even got shirt ironed for the wedding as there wasn't an iron in the room. It is right in the centre of the village so handy for walking around.

Stayed here while walking the South west coast path. It is in the middle of the village so very close to the eating places. Austin was very friendly and helpful and moved our luggage down the road for the next night. Room and breakfast both fine. Recommended

I am walking the south coast footpath and this is ideally situated for walkers. It's close to the path and to the facilities in Lizard. I actually spent 3 nights, using it as my base walking from Porthleven to Helford, a truly beautiful stretch. This is a lovely Victorian house, decorated in keeping with that period. The single room is very...

I needed a 3 night stay on short notice on returning to the UK from overseas en route to the Isles of Scilly and Austin and his team did a fantastic job! The room was clean, beds comfortable, warm ( coming from the Caribbean I needed that!) ! No sea view but the soothing sound from the Lighthouse created a...

Stayed for one night in July. Made very welcome by Austin from the off. Perfectly situated in middle of Lizard village with cafe, pubs and shops a minute or two away. Nice room, the place was spotlessly clean, everything worked, great value for money. Top notch breakfast too. Not bad for a bloke from Romford ! Thoroughly recommended.
