Had to visit plymouth for the university open day and needed somewhere close to the city for just 1 night ,this place is perfect ,not really a seaside destination in its own right ,but 2 mins from the torpoint ferry , 5 mins on the ferry (£1.50) per car you only pay leaving torpoint not on the way in ,...

I stayed at the B&B to save overcrowding my daughter's house ( and a peaceful refuge!!!) Breakfast was good and I had the "I'll be good" low fat one all but two days! Trish was a knowledgable cook. I had the tiny double room.... But the en suite was adequate ... And ( hooray!) I easily fitted in the shower....

We stayed overnight during a business trip along the South West coast. Owners are really friendly and made all the difference after a long and stressful day of travel by train, plane and car. Even directed us to supper at the Wilcove Inn which was an excellent recommendation which I've reviewed on that page. I was given a room at...

Thank you for your review and some positive comments. I'm sorry you found the room too warm, the Windows are left open for most of the day and are closed around 4pm in time for guests arrival, we would prefer the guests not to check into a chilly room. Air conditioning doesn't generally come as standard in small B&Bs in...

We stayed for one night to attend a funeral. The welcome was warm even though it was quite late into the evening. Room was clean, beautifully decorated and the bed was more comfortable than ours at home. Needed after an emotional day. Breakfast was delicious. We were offered the Full English, cooked to our requirements and cereal, fruit juice and...

Very conveniently located for boatyards in Torpoint. Very welcoming host. Very clean and comfortable en-suite room on top floor. Allowed me to eat my takeaway evening meal in the lounge room and then excellent breakfast. No complaints at all! Convenient on-street parking right outside (could see my car from bedroom window!).

After a wonderful trip around Cornwall we threw a dart in the map and thought Torpoint might be a sensible stop on the way home. If I had done my homework I would have found out that Torpoint is about as picturesque an incomplete oeuvre by a half pissed Picasso. Poor old Plymouth took a kicking during the war we...

Stayed at Cambridge House in order to attend a wedding at nearby Polhawn Fort (about 15 minutes' drive away). It is very close to the Torpoint Ferry and also convenient for HMS Raleigh. The rooms are very clean and comfortable as is the whole of the establishment. There is also plenty of street parking right outside. One minor gripe -...
