I booked 2 rooms in advance for a motorcycle trip. We arrived and met the owner who was very helpful in getting us settled. We had rode in the rain and she provided towels for our bikes and old newspapers to dry out our boots. The rooms are a good size. We had one room with 2 beds (room 3)...

Groups of couples on motor cycles traveling from mid Michigan spent the night at Huron Sands. The owners were very accommodating to us. We arrived late, just after the last ferry. Rooms clean and comfortable.

This is a convenient, utilitarian motel in the centre of Providence Bay. No frills! Our room had two twin beds, A/C, TV and a bathroom. Once we had put our two bikes in, it was full. The curmudgeonly owner, who has been running it for close to 50 years and whose favourite word starts with f, is more humorous than...

not sure what rooms some of the great viewers of this hotel had but ours was not one of them! the room was a real throw back to the 70's! definitely had not been updated since then. Wood paneling and faux brick and a very creeky floor. the room was large. No wifi and no phone either. it was clean...

The outside of the motel looked a little shabby. I was quite surprised by the room. The room was very clean. The only problem we had was when we went to shower the smell of the water was terrible. My 12 year old granddaughter did not want to get in the shower because of the smell. The office and the...

I went there with my family and had a great time. I didn't have any problem with the reservations and So on. I have to disagree with the other comments. My husbands got along with the owner and we didn't hear him swear at all. Maybe when you guys called he was having a bad day. I would recommend going...

I have stayed at the Huron Sands years before and had a wedding to attend this Aug. 2010. When I first contacted the motel, a lady took my call. She reported the motel was already fully booked up for that particular wknd, to which I then gave my contact info should a cancellation come up, I could then reserve a...

We had the same experience as the other negative feedback. We also had to cancel and gave several days notice. The man who dealt our cancellation at the motel used several swear words and other negative comments. I am glad now that we cancelled.

We stayed here on a Sunday night, we didn't want to sleep in the rain as it poured all day and as our last night there just wanted a nice sleep and no trailer or tent, a motel room is just what we wanted.... I thought for $99 was a bit pricey for any hotel on the Island, especially for...
