Not a bad motel, good enough for an overnight stay. Outdated but cheap. The aircon didn't work and the temperature was mid 30's outside so that as well as the bed not being very comfy made it really hard to sleep and the pillow was really flat. It is a cheap motel and we couldn't hear any outside noise from... More

Was welcomed in by owner, who was super lovely and nice to have a chat with! Even told me about his trip to York! (Not far from where I live). Room was comfortable and really clean! Was really happy with the place. Bed was a little hard and not very soft but that's just down to personal taste. I bought... More

The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Within walking distance of cafes and restaurants. I'd highly recommend the Coast Inn for a great stop over in Ballina.

Luv the room it was cosy. The room we stayed in was just right nothing fancy or over the top kinda room. Just an original basic room but very clean. Everything there for you to relax and chill. I am not a fancy person and don't care where I stay as long as it's cosy. Booking in a room at... More

Management response:

Hi Richard, We can only apologise again for the inconvenience caused by the fuse that tripped, meaning that we had no hot water for the Friday night. It is the first time this has ever happened and once the problem was discovered, it was immediately fixed and we did have hot water again but not until the next morning. Through... More

This proved to be an excellent motel which was good value for money. Large room with plenty of space. It is on the main road so I found it was noisy from 6am onwards. I would be happy to stay their again.

Central, well located motel. Great rooms, well appointed, spacious, super clean and well presented. Cheaper rooms at the front but you will have traffic noise. Very comfy bed so important when you're travelling. Friendly, very approachable young couple who run a highly efficient establishment. They even managed to turn on good weather for my stay too.
