So pleased to have had a break at this fabulous retreat, especially as Sydney is now in lockdown. It was great to “chill” with spectacular views and awe-inspiring sunrises. Anthony & Louise have created a wonderful welcoming environment for a peaceful & luxurious retreat. The 4-legged hosts (Griffin and Dougal) were enthusiastic greeters and made us very welcome. Lots to do in the surrounding areas and good food to be had in local towns, including the Farmers Market at Berry.

My wife and I have stayed at some great places over the years, but Mt Hay Retreat has topped them all! Such an amazing secluded retreat with amazing views, amazing on site facilities (such as the 33 meter heated pool and spa). You are also quite close to the great little town of Berry, which has some amazing food (that even delivers to your room) The hosts, Anthony and Louise (and their gorgeous 2 dogs) were so welcoming from the moment we got there, nothing was a hassle for them, couldn't rate them highly enough! If you get the chance this place is a MUST stay, why would people want to travel overseas when we have amazing place like this in our own backyard! Thank you again Anthony and Louise for hosting our first little honeymoon as a married couple and making it so memorable!

This is a must do for any adult seeking some time away from reality and to completely destress, unwind and remember why life is good. The owners are fabulous, clear communication, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are world class and seamless, it feels like you're in heaven. We stayed in a luxury suite and the views out over the countryside and ocean were breath taking, could have sat for hours just watching the world go by. The bath on the deck, amazing shower, hot tub and pool use. Don't forget to check out the farm animals, the big swing and just take in the property. I wish we could have stayed for longer and can't wait for the next opportunity to go back.

Spectacular views of the ocean to the mountains from the entire room. We soaked in the outdoor bath with a bottle of bubbles and watched the moon rise from the ocean. We watched the sun rise over the mountains from in bed with a coffee, nothing short of spectacular. Our hosts were more than accommodating even with the latest outbreak of covid. You really must stay here.

Absolutely breathtaking accommodation. So peaceful. Louise and Anthony are perfect hosts. We booked the midweek package, which included french champagne, a cheese platter and handmade chocolate strawberries. I strongly recommend this wonderful retreat. We will definitely be back soon.
